Important: The usability of Kissmetrics varies from business to business. The best way to find out if you need kissmetrics is:

1. Use google analytics for a few days (if you're not using it correctly) in your business. Try out their goals, conversions, and customized dashboards.

2. If you feel you need higher control over your data that Google Analytics isn't correctly providing, and kissmetrics provides that data, then you can think about migrating.

3. Before signing up, make sure the data you need from Kissmetrics outweighs the cost associated with it.

The standard reporting, goals, social analytics etc is same in Google analytics and kissmetrics (although kissmetrics provides better social signals data)

As long as your homepage does not get impacted for your branded query, its not a major point. The stopping of advertisements also does not seem to be a factor in this.

Question.Is the query you're putting in google: site:yourdomain.tld or site: yourdomain.tld

Because they show different results (note the space in between). Also, putting in 'www' may impact the search results.

Mostly don't worry about it for now. If it stays the same for another week or so, then we need to figure out a solution.  But my gut says it will come back to first position in a few days.
