Thanks Anthony,
HEY, "ANYBODY GOT A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY" they want to sell????
I get it that Google is "PROUD OF THEMSELVES" with G+, and really do get good stuff from a few GURU's. For example, Cutts cleared up his comment about targeting over optimized sites by saying "what I was trying to say was" we are going after spam.... well, hasn't he always gone after different levels of spam....
I had a social butterfly working for me for about 5 months, traffic went way up, conversions went down..
end thought........ I do agree that people do look at your social status before doing business with you....
As a thought, it is likely a GREAT idea to target your social content around the actual BUYER, Become and actually be an authority on your site and social..
Be yourself.... That's who the client is looking for..
Good stuff guys.
Any good feeds on what Google is up to NOW..??
Tom
Hey guys/gals, my experience, is to often look, listen, learn, before I get invested. Yes even with Google.
Like facebook,. I have NEVER received a single lead or for that measure a client form social "ANYTHING"..
G+ works great for picking up ideas as does FB and twitter, but to actually bring on business..... Not here, and would never PAY for such an environment.
I get more from network blogs like this than G+

Hi Chase,
Perhaps, if your looking for affordable seo, you should search " Affordable SEO"
I would think that some one at the top would be able to help you..
Best,
Tom Bates
Good thoughts Daniel,
I do not know this industry, but " perhaps" search volume is also down...... Is there any chance this is a seasonal type search based on school or holidays'?
If all placement is there as was before, perhaps you should also consider a stronger call to action in the description, and moving the site name to the BACK of the title........
best
Tom
Google seems to report what it deems MORE relevant. G did this same thing with Description tags not long ago as well.
I had the same problem you express above, and " as a test" left the site alone, and adjusted the Inbound Citations to be more relevant to the title I wanted... and BANG! IT WAS FIXED
I suggest writing for the reader.
1. if its for the reader you keep them on said page
2. write for the bots, the bots may bite.
Let me first, say, that , what ever you are doing for link building or PROMOTION...... STOP... DO not pass go, just stop....In looking at the report form OE, there are really no links listed worth having and are not promoting your website well at all.
run the webmaster report of links and make your best judgement on the link..... does it look spammy, is there porn, casino stuff, foreign lingo or full of other links red flag it, then report them all to G. Hopefully the domain is worth saving and you don't have to start over. I have also found that there is language you should use with communication with G that helps get their attention.
good luck
Funny thread!
how would you respond to this?
Customer "Q#1" why didn't you write keyword tags for my website.....? " give proper answer"
Q#2... If Google does not care about my keyword tags than why is it listed here "cache:domain. com" ?
UPDATE: wordpress all in one seo pro has the same thing keyword siggestion.......
I have seen no drop in placement with my projects that have no kw tags on Google, Bing or yahoo.
