I would like to research popular press releases in my industry. Ones that got picked up by many popular outlets, got a lot of coverage etc. Besides mindlessly searching the web for press releases, is there a better way? Almost looking for a service that ranks press releases in terms of effectiveness.

Site structure from an SEO standpoint
I am fortunate enough to be working with a client who is still building their website. From a site structure standpoint, what can I look for with my SEO hat as they build their wire frames and storyboard their site? I want to make sure I don't miss any components that might be helpful short and long term

Does Quantcast interfered with SEO?
Quantcast (http://www.quantcast.com/), a stats program was removed from my clients website because the former SEO consultant said it interefered with his SEO efforts, claiming the google bots weren't reading it right.
I have never heard of that before and my client now wants Quantcast back on their website. Has anyone heard of this problem with Quantcast?

RE: Whats next after I rank for many keywords?
I don't think his comment is well said at all, I think it is sarastic. As I said in my question, I am looking for more of a solution than keywords and linking, I am not looking for black hat "tricks" just other strategies. He took a word in my question and spun it in a negative fashion

Whats next after I rank for many keywords?
I have a client who came to me wanting to know what's next for her as she already ranks in the top 5 for hundreds of keywords. She is right, her rankings for her niche are excellent and there are no relevant keywords for her to try and go after. What would be next to generate traffic?
p.s She also has links from just about everyone in the industry that's relevant
There has to be more "tricks" to seo besides keywords and link building

Contacting web partners (syndicators)
In Analytics, you can see all the referrers who linked to you over a particular time period. For example, I can go to my referrer list for May and see everyone who linked to me (traffic sources>sources>referrals).
What I want to do is contact all the websites who went one month without linking to me. I know how to select the time frame and download the list. But what is the best way to compare the two lists then filter out those websites who need to be contacted?
It's tough to express, but I am hoping I am clear enough for you guys to understand what I am trying to accomplish.

How to advertise "tip of the day"
I have an email list of a few thousand and would like to start giving my subscribers a tip of the day. However, I have found that emailing all of them an email every day calls for a pricey email subscription. RE: Does Bitly hurt your SEO?
Thanks, but I am wondering how this is possible, unless the search bots could identify that it is a link shortener

Does Bitly hurt your SEO?
I often use bit.ly or Google URL shortener in links when other websites post my articles so I can track clicks. However, I am thinking this may HURT my SEO given that it is taking away a back link to my website. Is that logic correct ?
If so, what is a good way to be able to track clicks if a website posts your article without jeopardizing the SEO value?
