Suggested approach (support) for 301 redirects in event of an acquisition
If an agency has recently been acquired by a new organisation, it will need to be redirected to the new organisation's website as soon as possible.
We are aware of the need to 301 redirect all pages (domain authority) across to the current domain of the new organisation's website. The new organisation has less pages than our Agency site however, so we cannot point 301 redirects at page level. Would you therefore advise, A, B or C?:
A) Redirecting all pages including all blog posts/services pages etc across from the agency site to the new organisation's domain? * new organisation does not have /blog or /services pages.
-Will we lose authority if redirecting from pages of our agency site to the new organisation's top level domain?
B) Ensure that the new organisation secures hosting of the agency website, and place a holding page on the Agency website directing visitors through to the new organisation for the interim, until we have a /blog, /services page on the new organisation's site?
C) Place 301 redirects from agency across to new organisation, and look moving forward (when pages have been put in place on new organisation website) to retrospectively repoint 301 redirects from top level domain of new organisation's site to the new pages which have just been created on the new organisation's site?
Any pointers here would be appreciated.

It depends what depth/level of insight is required when it comes to behavioral insight (CX) tools for CRO. We have researched the market quite a lot
Crazy Egg, LuckyOrange, ClickDensity & Hotjar - focused towards SME's
SessionCam, ClickTale, IBM Tealeaf and Decibel Insight (our tool) - enterprise/corporate level (huge sites)
Be wary that many tools offer pre-generated reports and don't allow for a great deal of customization or segmentation. Also, they were built before responsive designs were a concept, so struggle with load times for tablet or mobile views when viewing heatmaps and session replays for example.

As we all know the landscape has changed from stuffing keywords in within the title (which I'm sure you're not implying) to more descriptive titles about what we actually are - so we're happy. The creative industry or the way you approach this may be different in Canada. We leave our homepage to explain exactly what we are. On .co.uk. you'll find our main competitors for the term "creative digital agency", which is what (essentially) we are too; creative in our approach, process and designs as a digital agency. Take a look for instance as the homepage page title for one of the most successful agencies in the country www.hugoandcat.com (Net Worth: £3,375,636) which is similar.
What would you suggest we add in within the page title? In terms of the page title, it has to provide context to what follows on the page; which isn't much as it's mainly design not content (copy) focused. Arguably if we were a smaller web design and development agency we'd focus on a more optimised page title, and maybe add some more content conducive for SEO, however we don't rely so heavily on search for specific search terms. If we're pulled into the SERPS for semantic (less competitive) variations, not exact match anchor texts over time then all the better; just so long as we're happy in targeting a more niche sector.
You are correct that we do provide SEO, as part of a broader digital marketing service which covers UX, CRO etc etc. We're not an SEO agency so we don't have to rely as heavily on search. We do provide more punch page titles for our clients dependent upon the market/industry they operate within, and level/strength of competition.

Many thanks for your response. Made the switch a month ago now. I submitted the old mobile site m.domain.com to webmaster tools recently in the hope that it picks up the redirect to the new domain. All old data for New Brand Vision is now not showing in the SERPS, just (annoyingly) our former company name within the page title when browsing for "Decibel Digital" on mobile. Even gone as far as selecting the drop down in Chrome on my Iphone and selected "report an issue" - last chance saloon?
It's a little frustrating, but looks like (as you say) might just have to bide time for a bit longer.

Page title inconsistency
Hi folks,
Our agency rebranded from New Brand Vision to Decibel Digital a few weeks ago. Most things seem to be fine, 301 redirected the site and our site looks much better however there is one issue.
When searching for our responsive site using my Iphone5, the page title appears as "New Brand Vision", even though "New Brand Vision" isn't within the source code. Our page title is <title></span><span data-mce-mark="1">Creative Digital Agency in London | Decibel Digital </span><span class="html-tag" data-mce-mark="1"></title> which is picked up on Desktop, but not through mobile search when sourcing our responsive site.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks!

Many thanks for your insight, much appreciated. Yes we've covered all angels suggested, and addressed local search through Google places. Very true that's a difficult market; and we are located in within a cluster of tech companies! Our search impressions have never really dropped so there's been no penalty. Certainly not being elitist but our pool of clients are very well known, and our agency has a reasonably strong reputation in London; however seemingly not with Google. As you say, it is highly competitive industry, especially in our digs! It may just be a matter of biding time until the search engine latches onto the signals from our site.

Thoughts on our Agency Site
Hi all,
We'd all welcome opinions on our digital agency site http://www.newbrandvision.com/. We are in the planning stage of launching a new site; and we'd welcome any UX or SEO thoughts.
It's a strange one but our agency has been around since 2002, and we operate in the heart of London; however we don't rank anywhere near the first page for "digital agency in London" or any long-tail /semantics around this. We feel that it's pretty clear from search and when landing on the site what we are; but would welcome any general thoughts as to why we aren't ranked that highly.
