Exporting Keywords in Google Analytics
In the old Google Analytics, I would simply add &limit=30000 in the URL.
Does anyone know how to export all keywords from the new Google Analytics?

RE: Video Sitemap, Video Location
Hi Brent.
The problem is that the client has the video listed as private (not to be viewed on Vimeo), so the video returns a "you don't have permission to view this page".
Any thoughts?

RE: Video Sitemap, Video Location
I think I used the wrong terminology in the post. There are a few items needed for a video sitemap, from my understanding.
- Title
- Description
- Play page URL
- Thumbnail URL
- Raw video file location and/or the player URL (SWF) <-- this is what I'm having trouble finding
Does that make sense? Sorry for my idiocy.

Video Sitemap, Video Location
I'm a link builder, so some of this stuff on-page stuff is out of my comfort zone.
I've got a client who I'm doing a video sitemap for, as well as Schema integration.
One of the requirements on the video sitemap is video location. They're hosting all of their videos privately at Vimeo, and embedding them on their website. Is there a URL that Vimeo has for engines, because the primary URL on Vimeo is blocked because of their permissions (private).
Any suggestions on a work-around on this?
Again, I'm a link builder and out of my comfort zone, so I apologize for the dumb question

RE: Schema or Google Video Sitemap

Schema or Google Video Sitemap
Hey.
I have a few hundred pages with videos on them. I want to have rich snippets with the thumbnail and such in the search results.
Should I focus my time on Schema or building out a solid sitemap?
Your feedback is appreciated!

RE: Target the homepage?
To Keri's point, I can't provide the business name. Thanks for understanding.
In terms of the business type, this is a web application that helps people organize their travel. It isn't your local traditional restaurant that is trying to compete with others in their area. We would be competing with other nationally recognized travel applications (TripAdvisor, Yahoo Travel, etc), most likely. Should have provided this clarification upfront. My apologies.

RE: 1 Goggle Analytics Account or Multiple?
I work at a decent size agency, and I faced this issue when I came on staff. I highly recommend you use separate accounts and not profiles. There are a ton of implications of using profiles, outside of the spam that you're concerned about.
-
First of all, I doubt that Google would penalize the other profiles on that account.
-
If your clients ever want administrator access to setup goals, ecommerce, or link their Adwords account, giving them administrator access would give them access to all profiles, not their specific website.
-
If your clients ever want to run Adwords campaigns, the ability to link multiple Adwords accounts to specific profiles within a single account is in beta currently (I believe). Just a few months ago, I don't believe this was possible at all.

If you ever do lose a client (which happens), you can't transfer profile ownership to someone.
Hope this helps, even if it's not SEO specific.

Target the homepage?
Hi SEOmoz!
I have a potential client who is piloting a web application in a specific geo market, but plans on expanding to 10+ cities in the near future (6-12 months).
He wants to rank for "[initial geo market] + [service]". Should I optimize the homepage for this keyword (which will be relatively easy to rank for), or encourage him to build out a geo-specific template (could take a few months to add this to the application) for this market, and try to rank that so it's scalable?
Thoughts are appreciated.

RE: What is the most optimal URL structure
I'd suggest keeping the page as close to the root domain as possible. Don't put directories in-between as you did in the following example: www.abc.com/services/service1
Also, utilize hyphens to separate the words. I don't think Google is sophisticated enough to breakup a string into words without hyphens (could be wrong).
Lastly, if you're planning on trying to get into Google News, one of the requirements is to have a 3+ digit string in your URL. So something along the lines of www.abc.com/home-remodeling-123
Hope that helps!

RE: Does more high traffic to your website increase your rankings?
While it might be a ranking factor, I'd argue that its value is very minimal. While traffic might suggest that a site is popular, that can be easily manipulated. Metrics that Simon mentioned like CTR, bounce rate, and even page speed are much more relevant factors as they give a good indication to Google about the quality of the website, and how relevant it is to the query.
