but by doing this method we can achieve results for all these pages with the same keyword with just different locations? page titles and and keywords will still need to be implemented for the search engine to understand what we are primarily targeting correct?

So i have a client for carpet cleaning in Seattle, but he doesn't just want to rank up for "Carpet Cleaning Seattle" he wants to rank up for sub locations such as
Lynnwood Carpet Cleaning
Kirkland Carpet Cleaning
Kenmore Carpet Cleaning
Issaquah Carpet Cleaning
Everett Carpet Cleaning
Edmonds Carpet Cleaning
Bothell Carpet Cleaning
Bellevue Carpet Cleaning
Auburn Carpet Cleaning
Orting Carpet Cleaning
Monroe Carpet Cleaning
Milton Carpet Cleaning
Marysville Carpet Cleaning
Lacey Carpet CleaningRight now the designer he hired to develop the website has created a separate web page for each of these location pages. the reason being he services all these areas and wants to rank up for all of these areas with basically the same keyword... SEO is fairly simple to me when it comes to straight forward small sized projects or targeting specific services in one set location. But with all these algorithmic changes I worry that this is not something Google may want to see.. What is my best bet with this project, and what SEO methods would you recommend for a site that has 40 total landing pages all with similar keywords just different locations?

Well of course it would all be on one website with different landing pages, but the idea is for web design it has to be beneficial to the consumer to understand what we offer, and repeating that 4 times in different ways is such a hassle. unfortunately targeting a large city like NYC for web design, and SEO is way to competitive, we really need to target Queens, Brooklyn, and Long island as a short term goal, and NYC as a long term goal.
Yes we would only show all locations on homepage, each landing page wont show other locations, or anything confusing, the problem i'm seeing is if someone enters a landing page for lets say Queens web design, and there are all the queens related pages such as SEO, online marketing. and they go to any of these, and then maybe deciding to click on about us to learn about us, how would the navigation work there? how would the about us page know where they came from? its becomes difficult with universal pages.

Hi david, I am actualy not trying to do an EMD. I am not targeting Media Marketing USA as a potential high level keyphraise. I would doubt many people would even search it. I will be targeting Web Design Location, SEO Location etc.
But what this question is about is not EMD's or there affect, but rather is this name possible to use as a brand?
Can I develop a brand from a generic name like this one?
would Google understand this is a brand, and possibly give me a competitive advantage because it happens to be mentioned 500+ times a day? (found out using the mentioning tool)

SEO For sub locations for specific services
Hey Guys, I am currently creating a website for my business that will be marketing through SEO very heavily. I Live in NYC, and i'd like to rank up for the individual locations such as Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island and eventually if my domain authority and other long hall metrics kick in NYC.
What I find very tiring is targeting these locations all separately, it means I need to create the same site 4 times with completely different and unique content.
Should this setup work for me, and is there a risk that Google will see 4 web design pages, and basically say even though the content is unique your ranking up for web design with a location too many times? from my understanding this is not a problem now, but is this a future risk? It also becomes extremely difficult for site navigation with about us pages, contact us pages, and other pages that either have to be duplicated or all pages shown on sidebar for navigation.

Branding Association for SEO, and Google's understanding of a "brand Name"
Hey guys. so I currently run my own business here in Queens NY, for Web Design and online marketing, specifically SEO, SMM, SEM, and some inbound marketing that ties to SMM and SEO. When starting I was in a different business, and had kept my old business name.
I plan on re-branding myself January 1st with a brand new name, the name i'm seriously considering is "Media Marketing USA". I was able to purchase MediaMarketingUSA.com. I feel this name is good and bad at the same time, and here are some of the reasons.
The pro: Easy to remember, sounds big, and describes my business well.
The con: Sounds generic, and I worry it will be hard to brand.
I used the mentioning tool provided by Moz and see that nearly everyday 500-1,000 people are naturally mentioning Media Marketing USA, one of my biggest questions is will this give me a competitive advantage in SEO, or will it hurt me in SEO as Google may not see this or understand its a brand name? Do you personally think this is a good name to re-brand myself and use as my main website?
The Website itself will be used as a corporate website, a method of inbound and outbound marketing through content creation, Social Media, and of course SEO, targeting specific locations, and specialty services and industries in the NYC area.
