I think this tool puts the nofollow attribute so would not need to use it in that kind of link.

RE: One Page Website vs. Multipage Site, if you want to target one specific Keyword only.
Personally I prefer the websites with many pages, I seem easier to rank, besides your site looks very much like an affiliate site which tend to have trouble ranking, why you do not do a single blog, put static the page of discounts and write articles there.?

RE: How to troubleshoot google authorship?
How clear is the image of your profile in Google plus, it seems that google can recognize faces, if isn't clear maybe that is the reason why your image is not displayed

RE: New Website, New URL, New Content - What do we do with the old site? Are 301's the only option?
Personally I would try to use all the old content & try to keep the urls (if not duplicate) and put a 301 redirect on the old website, hopefully will be indexed well and not lose that traffic.

rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1 [r=301,nc] -
RE: PDF on financial site that duplicates ~50% of site content
If you are using apache, you should put it on your .htaccess with this form
<filesmatch “my-file.pdf”="">Header set Link ‘<http: misite="" my-file.html="">; rel=”canonical”‘</http:></filesmatch>

RE: Google PR Rank Question (s)
The PR usually changes every three months but there have been cases where it takes up to 6 months, overall PR is not important so you should not worry too much about it.

RE: "Jump to" Links in Google, how do you get them?
What you should do is:
There are a few things you can do to increase the chances that they might appear on your pages. First, ensure that long, multi-topic pages on your site are well-structured and broken into distinct logical sections. Second, ensure that each section has an associated anchor with a descriptive name (i.e., not just "Section 2.1"), and that your page includes a "table of contents" which links to the individual anchors.
Maybe the question is: how to create these internal links?
This goes in the table of contents
This is in the section:
Section 1 Title

RE: Tips to Merge Two Domains?
think the best thing you can do is do a 301 redirect, maintain two websites can be complicated in your case it seems unnecessary.
