Hello Folks.
Let me put it this way.
Moz is great. especially, this community of like minded people. But, when it comes to Moz tool's features- it has its own Pros and Cons.
And, that's what force us to add other tools to our tool kit. So, just wanted to know what all other SEO tools you use and why???
Let me start this by answering this question:
I use SERPed.net as my other SEO tools suite. And the reasons are:
It offers 40+ SEO tools ( Few are similar to the ones that I get with Moz, but the other ones that I don't get in Moz are real good. For ex: **Site Auditor Pro, Mobile **Prospector)
Along with showing data for their metrics and algos, they pull data from- SEMrush and Majestic SEO. So, I don't need to have subscription of these 2 tools and still I get the data from them.
A big money saver
Let's start this interesting thread
Hi Bob,
14 is a real good number to be honest. Now, I think you should start focusing on pushing it to your target audience. So, that they get to know about it (and ultimately about your site/ product). So, when you launch, it finally converts for you.
Few quick things:
a) What is the ideal length of posts in your niche?? Just because Google loves long posts ( Here is a support article for this) your all posts should be lengthy.
Writing for search engines is good. But, writing your target audience will drive better results for your content marketing efforts.
b) If possible, talk to 2-3 people (who you think belong to your target audience) and ask them:
What types of posts they like to read --> lengthy / short/ medium
What all types of topics they like to read about??
Use tools like Hotjar to see how readers are interacting with your posts?
This should give you fair idea.
BTW, an ideal number would be 4-6 posts ( because these many posts are good enough for readers to decide whether they want to follow a blog or not)
Hope this helps
Hi Rob,
Gaston and Andrew have already answered this question with supporting resources. But there is I good guide I came across for website Indexing. If you are still looking for solution, you may find this useful.
You can check it here - The White Hat Guide for Website Indexing
If you have already found the solution, do enlighten us with issue (and what was causing the issue).
Good Luck,
Hi Muhammad,
I agree with EGOL that links used to have a much higher value than they have today. But still, they are one of the key things one needs to take care of while doing the SEO.
Though I am not a link building expert, I found a useful detailed piece over internet that you may find interesting. It talks about the link building tips and strategies. Check it out here
I hope it helps:)
Please do share your learning on link building if you find some good tips (Obviously other than this post ).
Thanks,

Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
