Hi,

I'm trying to test a few things for which I've registered and set up new domains.

For the set up I used Wordpress.

Each Site has about three articles in it but no links pointing to them. Also I didn't take any measures to get my site indexed.

However, one week later all my sites were indexed. Why is that and how can it be?

I'm thankful for any answer since the problem is really ruining my test environment.

The only clue I have, as to why this could be happening, is that I didn't remove the ping sites.Is that the reason? Or are there also other reasons?

Maybe I'am wrong, but I've never seen snippets with a company logo in each blog posting so far.

I work for a big company and they want to use the google autor tag.

The goal is to get the rich snippets and better rankings in the future from having a trusworthy autor for each topic building up followers basically.

The problem is that the company does not want to pay employees to build up their own autor profiles/trust since an employee could leave the company any time and we would have to start from scratch building another autor profile.

Now I know that google only wants real people in google plus bla bla  ... bla bla ...

How do you guys handle this problem? I thought of having our autors sharing one made up autor profile which is owned by the company.

We will be shutting down an old website with many (good) links, since the site has no strategic relevance anymore. We do have many other sites, but none of them has exactly the same content/topic. Nonetheless, I would like to keep the juice and redirect the site to another newer project. However, I want to redirect certain URLs of the old site to probably even different domains, depending on which content matches best with the alternative newer site. Does this make sense? Or would youjust redirect the whole domain to one other domain although they don't really have the same topic

And how would you handle the URL redirects if the old site has more than 50k URLs? Because that is the case.
