Is there a pro tool or google service that I can use to see which sites rank for certain terms? Without having to first identify the url's?

For example I want to see the top 20 sites in order of ranking for top keywords in my industry. Without having to know in advance the url's.

Yep! As Mark answered, check out our Keyword Difficulty tool: http://www.seomoz.org/keyword-difficulty - Although it only shows the top 10. But you get lots of data on those top ten sites ranking. Hope this helps!

Keyword reserch 'blends' to much. How to decide on focused landing pages?
Hi guys. I work for stationery company. We make personalised diary products, but recently we've expanded into binding services/ printing services. I've been doing some keyword research around these new services we offer, but i'm struggling to 'separate them out' into focused areas that we can then apply to our landing pages. In the images i've attached you can see how the keywords naturally fall into groups (and were generally in different groups in Ad words) but they also overlap somewhat. E.g) There's a 'Book binding service' group as well as 'print and binding' group...they're different but overlap. Another example would be 'Book binding' groups and 'leather book binding' group....so on and so forth. So... do you think there should there be a landing page for each group (and therefore having some keyword cannibalisation), or should I try be more broad trying to capture the searches within 1 or 2 landing pages? Optimizing Webpages for Keywords- Using Text Links to Distribute Internal Page Rank
My Manhattan based commercial real estate firm hired an SEO firm. The company conducted a content audit, created a keyword matrix and suggested optimizing 51 pages for specific keywords. A specific price per page was quoted, which I understand and accept. I was under thought that setting up internal text links to redistribute page rank and thereby improve ranking for competitive terms was included in the price. But this task was not included in their quote. I really want to avoid getting nickeled and dimed to death. Should this cost be included, or legitimately is setting up the internal link structure something that is an additional expense? If this task is legitimately an extra, how labor intensive is it? A lit bit of extra time when re-writing pages or a completely different task that would be quite time consuming? Also, I believe the flow of page rank within a site can have a big effect on ranking, so setting up internal links is critical. Are these assumptions correct? For some background, www.nyc-officespace-leader.com gets 4,500 organic visits per month. Google Page Rank is 2 and the site was hit by Panda in 2012 but has partially recovered. I would really appreciate some insight from the MOZ community. I do not want to pay too much or too little for these services. THANKS, Alan

Hit by Panda, what's the quickest way to remove content
One of our client's sites got hit by panda/penguin. after careful investigation we found that the site had 6,900 pages indexed out of which about 300 are actual pages (pages with quality content and add value to the user). Needless to say we had to remove all those pages. Most of the thin pages were on the blog section of the site so we removed the WP which was on www.mysite.com/blog/. My question is how can i speed up the process for Google to realize that i have taken all those this pages down. i have fetched the homepage and all linked pages via "Fetch as Google Bot" on WMT. is there anything else i can do to speed this up???

Big difference in rank on google.com and google.no
Hi Our E-com website went from 8th to 1st spot yesterday for our most important keyword (barneklær = childrens clothing) on google.no weirdly enough we arent ranking on first page at all on google.com . I find this very strange especially since the keyword itself is so country specific - mainly because of the norwegian specific letter - æ. The results are not due to personalization i ve check it with the keyword difficulty tool here on seomoz. The sites ranking higher then me on google.com are sites i am ranking higher then on google.no. Anyone got a good explanation ? The changes for my keyword in ranking i saw yesterday was alot more then i am used to see - almost like google made some sort of script change. we went from 8th to 1st. 1st dropped to 4th, 5ht went to 2nd etc - i am not used to seeing this big changes. Anyone got a clue to either of these 2 questions ?

Keywords and the role of 'in', 'for', 'to' and plurals
Hi there, I wonder if you can help. Google's keyword tool lists each of these keywords separately with its own Local Monthly Volume count: flats to rent in London flats to rent London flats for rent in London flats for rent London flat to rent in London flat to rent London flat for rent in London flat for rent London I'd rather not create 8 separate pages for this, which I think will be poor for the user and limit the range of keywords i can target. So my main question is: what should I do? a) How important is 'in'? Will a page written for 'flats to rent in London' do well against the 'flats to rent London'? b) The same for plurals: if I'm writing 'flats to rent' will it rank against 'flat to rent'? c) The same for 'to' and 'for': If i'm writing 'flats to rent in London' will it rank against 'flats for rent in London?' Is there a way to tell google to ignore keywords in Webmaster Tools?
In Google Webmaster Tools for my site, the #1 keyword is "ago", probably because we format datestamps like "3 days ago". Is there a way to tell google not to count the word "ago"? Seems like a common enough word that google should be ignoring it. I have a feeling the answer to my first question is "NO!", so my follow-up question is: is there a best practice for formatting dates for SEO? Thanks!
