We will certainly tweet about it, and I believe there's a post with information about this update coming in the next few days. It's just still a bit early yet on the West Coast and Roger hasn't made the rounds to Twitter yet.

Sudden big drop in ranking - update, tech issue or penalty?

We are managing a website that was previously consistently ranking on P1 or top position on P2 and over the weekend (28th Jan) suddenly dropped to P5. What is the best way of ascertaining whether this was down to an update, a tech issue or a penalty? How can I limit the impact of Google's mobile friendly updates on keyword rankings?

Hi everyone, I have a client on a monthly SEO package that is taking a hard hit in the rankings as their website is not mobile friendly. We are currently building a new website for them that will be fully responsive, but face the predicament of how to keep the current site performing relatively well in the rankings in the meantime. The site is generally well optimised and we always follow SEO best practices, so we've hit a bit of a stumbling block as to how to limit any negative impact the mobile friendly updates have on the site. Does anyone have any suggestions for damage limitation? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does Moz recognize rel next prev tags? Magento question

Howdy Mozzers! We are running a store in magento where we have many products in each category. Hence view all for category pages is not an option. We have applied rel next prev tags to our paginated pages in the following manner Example for page 2 in a category: The issue we are facing is that Moz suggests www.domain.com/category and www.domain.com/category?p=1 as duplicates, even though rel next prev tags are implemented. 1. Does nel next prev consolidate link juice?
2. Does Moz recognize the tags?
3. Will this work for us or should we implement canonical tags as well?

Bing Algo Updates?

I am of the belief it is bad to be "too" Google-centric. Many people have found that out with Panda, Penguin and Venice in recent years - all eggs in one basket and after one update you are out for the count (if you we're naughty of course). Anyway, That aside I enjoy looking at are reminding myself about Google Algo Updates using the SEOMoz Google Change Log (a bit like Gina Tripani's change log on This Week in Google, but only more Algo focused) - http://www.seomoz.org/google-algorithm-change So, my question - is there a version of Bing somewhere out there?

Linkscape update 2013

After the last linkscape update of 2012 (December) I noticed that it had missed a couple of high quality follow links to other sites that I'd built. I just assumed that the crawler had missed them but would pick them up next time. It hasn't though (I've been built some since then as well) and my DA has stayed the same. Help...

Rank Report Not Updating

The ranking tool indicates that a new rank report will be generated every Tuesday. My last report was on November 15th. It is now November 25th. It missed last week. Should I report something wrong or is this normal? How do I keep it updating on a weekly basis like it's supposed to? Ability to have .csv files automatically emailed on a weekly basis (after rankings are updated)?

Hi I am not sure if this is the proper place to post this. I was wondering if there are any plans to add automated emails to SEOMOZ Pro. Each week I find myself logging into SEOMOZ Pro to pull csv files across several profiles (I use PRO Elite), does SEOMOZ have any plans to add this functionality sometime in the future? All I need is an email to be sent to a specific email address after the ranking report has been updated. SEOMOZ staff - Great job on the tool, definitely the best ranking tool I have ever used.
