Internal link question - compared with my competitors

Dear all,
I started to working on SEO on my website http://www.techstation.it and I have some thing that I would clarify. I see a lot of differences between internal links of my website and my competitors that usually are placed a bit better. (Please check attached image).
They have A LOT of internal links, about 2.000+ instead 137 (mine), that's wrong in my SEOMOz dashboard. Every news and article page has 120-130 links to other contents. About teh external followed links:
- Mine: 1,674
- #1: 2,018
- #2: 316 (????) - this is placed really good for some competitive keywords
- #3 (best ranked): 7,905 links
I have two more points that I would fix:
Articles ranking
We were one of the first 5-6 website that published at the launch day the review of Intel Core i7 3960X CPU and started with a ranking in the last first page results, a few days alter in the second and now we are at the end of the second page. This happens .. I think... every time
All my article pages are graded with "A grade" in the control panel. So what should I do for increase my rankings?

We have some inbound links from some news aggregator, some forums and a few manufactuers of the products that we are reviewing. For sure I will try to increase the number of them, but..more than that what can I do? On page factors seems to be good.
One question about those internal links: one site have 7.000 internal links, we have 139 (taht sounds strange becasue every page has about 120-130). How it's possible?

Think you forgot the screenshot, but by what you are telling I can imagine that your site hasn't built up a strong trust and authority compared to the other sites, and that's why your rankings drop. They get indexed high because it's fresh news but drop because more authoritive domains start talking about same subjects and pass you in rankings.
The grade A you see in the control panel is a good thing, but it's only 1 element of SEO, you should really develop a strategy for your site to get quality backlinks.
I hope you can post the screenshot so I can take a closer look at it.

Question about inbound links
Hi, When i run a scan for inbound links for the domain denverhongkongcafe.com/. One of the inbound links does not have the website denverhongkongcafe.com on its page. I viewed the source code and couldnt't find anything. But denverhongkongcafe.com links to that "inbound" link. Just to summarize everything. This link https://www.beyondmenu.com/40371/denver/hong-kong-cafe-denver-80014.aspx?r=40371 is an inbound link but does not have denverhongkongcafe.com anywhere in the site. But when i go to denverhongkongcafe.com it goes to https://www.beyondmenu.com/40371/denver/hong-kong-cafe-denver-80014.aspx?r=40371 . I am not sure how https://www.beyondmenu.com/40371/denver/hong-kong-cafe-denver-80014.aspx?r=40371 is an inbound link?

Links being reported in Webmaster Tools
Hi Are the Total Links To Your Site, as reported in GWT, purely external inbound links ? Since these links are usually, as far as i can tell, much higher in number than any other link reporting tool and hence, i presume, more accurate, why don't services such as Moz etc include this in reporting ? I know its just a total number and link quality is whats important not quantity, but i would have thought interesting to show in reporting in conjunction with link quality info such as is already reported. Since most backlink reporting tools do show a total but always much much lower than that reported in gwt (i think) All Best Dan

How to Link sub-pages of a category without cannibalization?
What's the best practice to link to sub-categories without cannibalizing SEO? Main page title = Dog Sub page title = dog collar Sub sub page = spiked dog collar I used SEOMoz program and it showed the link from the main page to the sub page as cannibalized and also as duplicate title Same thing for the sub-sub page. How to avoid it? Please provide examples Questions: Would you use: dog_collar or dog-collar for the sub-page? How would you link to the sub page from the main page? Link Assistant SEO Tool - Any Others?
I have the most boring copier service website, clients cool, concept is really boring; Well I am looking to generate this client some link back juice, cause this guy is struggling for traffic, and I am am struggling to generate a buzz about copier services?? Competitive Link finder tool
I tried to use competitive link finder tool. it says that it will identify 10 most important links that my competitor get that I do not. The results that I get are inconsistent with linkscape tool. For example my competitor has a link on www lawyer-links dot info Google rank of that site is 1. Is that really one of their most important links?

301 redirect question from a newb
So, I've been blogging for almost 3 years now. I've always used wordpress, but recently changed from a ProPhoto theme to a Woo Theme (Editorial...don't know if that matters). I've signed up for the SEOmoz website and HOLY CROW I have problems with my website out the wazoo. I am tackling issues one at a time and one of my issues seems to be 301 redirects. If you'd like to see a screen shot of the crawl diagnostics, check it out the attachment. If you'd like screen shots of anything else, just let me know. I'm not sure I'm reading the chart right, but it seems to say that all of my redirecting problems are because my links are redirecting from an http://www..... to a http://http://www... I've been in my wordpress blog post back end and can't seem to figure out how they A. Got like this. and B how to fix it. If I'm reading the chart wrong...definitely let me know. Why would Open Site Explorer say some internal links are images when in the source code they're text?
Hi, All! I was looking at OSE for one of my client's site's pages, and I saw that all internal links were said to be images. I was pretty sure their menu was CSS, and all the links were text. So I did "fetch as Googlebot" and looked in the resultant code of one of the homepage to see the main navigation bar. <code>Anchor Text Here</code> So there is an image in the link (it's the little arrow before the text to indicate a sub-category), but the anchor text comes right after it. Is Linkscape (and therefore potentially Google) seeing them as two different links to the same page and only counting the first? But it's all wrapped within the same <a></a>tags. Any ideas on if this is a bug in Linkscape, or a real issue, and what should be done? Thanks! Aviva``0
