Sandboxed
-
Hi all,
Any help with the following. We built a new site for a customer in June of last year. We then cracked on with the on page and off page SEO. All white had....good quality. 3 months in the site was still not ranking with google and indeed had been sandboxed. All working fine with Bing and Yahoo. We followed all the steps to get recognitions for Google but to no avail. In December we took the drastic step of providing the customer with a completely new site...new content, design, structure etc etc. In Jan we went back and fixed all the external linking sources to link to the new pages on the new site. Now 7 months in.....the site is STILL sandboxed. All still fine with Bing and Yahoo.
Thoughts anyone?

Lawrence,
The link-building is a important part of off-page SEO. In my point of view, you should start creating a strategy to associate your site with others of the same area.
Also if you have a blog you should creat relevant content with texts and share them on the social media plataforms such as Twitter (that you already have), Facebook and also Linkdinn. You must have the Goolge +1 on the site aswell.
Last but not least as I see in Woorank (http://www.woorank.com/en/www/playgrounddevelopments.co.uk) you have alot of work ahead of you......on-page and off-page.....

Google does not recognise the name of the site

Oh I see. They are just links. Both have a relevancy for this site.
Still lost as to why the site is struggling

Lawrence,
You know that you only have 2 domains pointing to your site right? Whats your strategy on link-building?
-
Site is playgrounddevelopments.co.uk Not appearing under name in google
-
How are you confirming that it is sandboxed?
-
If you don't mind sharing, what is the site? Doing some exploring might help us better understand the situation.
-
Hello,
Can you tell if you have keywords on the top of google search with that website?

What Happens If I migrate my Sandbox free website to a new domain? Will my rankings be affected?
Hey Mozzers! One of my sites recently got out of the Google sandbox period (cause it started to rank for keywords) but the problem is the old domain sounds kinda uncool. I then found a new domain with a very cool name so I want to migrate my old site to the new domain. So my question is will it affect my rankings on Google? Or will my new domain be sandboxed for another year? Please help me out fast.

Questions about the Sandbox and 301 Redirects
Does the sandbox still exist? What if you have a brand new URL and do a 301 redirect from another website because the name of the service business changed? Thanks for any insight and help.

Is the Sandbox Real? Need Help!
To start, I'm very new at this so I've likely made a ton of mistakes but here is the breakdown of what's happened/what's been done to my site. I own a wedding photography company which was based in Portland, we decided about six months prior that we wanted to relocate to San Diego. It was too soon to optimize our website for our new town of San Diego so I created a brand new site. It was born around June 2011. It looks just like the old site but all the content is different (different titles, re-uploaded images, text, etc was optimized for San Diego). What may be my pitfall is I imported our blog posts from the old site to the new site and we continued to keep both blogs live (writing the post in one, importing to the other). San Diego site: http://continuumweddings.com Old Site (now optimized for LA): http://continuumphotography.com From there I began link building. I signed up for the SEO Scheduler and began making the changes suggested there. It told me to sign up for Linxboss, and I did it. Other than that, my links have been build naturally and I have quite a few of them, definitely enough to compete with my top competitors. At one point I was #3 for "San Diego Wedding Photographer" and I stayed there for a couple weeks. Then I began to drop. Now I'm somewhere on page 10. I've read a lot of articles on here and I know I have a lot of things potentially hurting me. Site age, Duplicate content, etc. I'm just not sure why I dropped (still rank on 1st page in Yahoo & Bing) and what I should do about it. I tend to get overwhelmed and every post I read seems to talk about something new I may have done wrong. I'm willing to put in the time to fix this; I just need to know where my time is best spent.

Google Sandboxing
I have a new site with a new domain that ranked well the 1st week or so after it was indexed then it totally dropped off the SERP. My question is, does Google Sandboxing affect new sites on new domains that don't have any incoming links? The site dropped off before I began link building - from what I've read unnatural link build is often the cause. Can you still be sandboxed without any link building? If this is the case, are there things I can do to get out of the sandbox? Thanks folks, Jason

Sandbox Cached
Hello, I worked on my site using a sandbox, this site got cached!!! So now all my pages on my regular site have several links from this IP address. I know this isn't that big of a deal. But I would like to get it straightened out. I've had disallow on the robots.txt for several weeks. How should I go about getting this IP address out of the google index? Thanks Tyler
