Lots of site errors after last crawl....
-
Something interesting happened on the last update for my site on SEOmoz pro tools.
For the last month or so the errors on my site were very low, then on the last update I had a huge spike in errors, warnings, and notices. I'm not sure if somehow I made a change to my site (without knowing it) and I caused all of these errors, or if it just took a few months to find all the errors on my site?
My duplicate page content went from 0 to 45, my duplicate page titles went from 0 to 105, my 4xx (client error) went from 0 to 4, and my title missing or empty went from 0 to 3.
On the warnings sections my missing meta description tag went form a hand full to 444. (most of these looking to be archive pages.)
Down in the notices I have over 2000 that are blocked by meta robots, meta-robots nofollow, and Rel canonical. I didn't have any where near this many prior to the last update of my site.
I just wanted to see what I need to do to clean this up, and figure out if I did something to cause all the errors. I'm assuming the red errors are the first things I need to clean up.
Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Also if you'd like me to post any additional information, please let me know and I'd be glad to.

Hey Rick,
Could you send an email to help@seomoz.org and ask them about this? They'll be able to tell you if it's something on your end, or if Roger is misbehaving in his crawls. Thanks so much!
Keri

Thanks, but I'm not sure what you mean by "upgrading my Wordpress." I have the newest version, and I also use the Yoast SEO plugin.

Watch those comment pages, ascending/descending lists, article pagination, tag pages, category pages, archive pages, RSS, print pages, and anything else that might create a page link. I recommend upgrading your Wordpress and installing the Yoast SEO plugin.
But also, search engine algorithms change, and I imagine they do here at SEOmoz. Be prepared for these kinds of updates as the point is to keep up with search engines to give the best possible representation of your rankings.

5xx Server Errors
Hey all, Recently my site has seen a rise in 5xx errors which have all popped up since the first of the year. Our company made a big announcement on 1/4 which drove a lot of traffic to the site, which I thought may be a reason for the sudden errors. But the errors have since continued. Also, the crawl from last week showed no errors at all (which I'm sure was a fluke) Taking a closer look in GA, the pages that are receiving errors have not been visited for months. Is this a random occurrence or should I consult someone to investigate our server? Thanks,

How to trace 4XX errors in campaign data?
I am trying to resolve a number of 4XX (Client Error) issues noted in my campaign report, but I have no idea where they are originating. All I get is the broken link, the status code, the page authority and the number of linking root domains. How do I identify where the erroring link originates? Is it coming from within my website, or from an external website? I have gone through my site in great detail looking for these links, but can't find any evidence of them. I also use a broken link detection plugin and it reports no problems whatsoever. Is there a way I can drill down into these 404 links and get more detail about where they are coming from?

Recent SEOMoz Crawl = Strange Results
Did anyone else get some really strange results in their weekly crawls this week with the campaign tool? Either my ranks sky rocked across three different sites or the tools is busted. Something to the tune of having 4 pages ranking in the top 30 to now having 15-16 pages ranking in the top 30. I'd love to find out it is just all the hard work paying off but i am worried it is the later. Regards - Kyle

My website - qtmoving.com - has 26 articles and when the SEOmoz did a crawl it only found 13 articles. Can someone please give me some insight as to why not all pages are being crawled.
