Schema mark up
-
Has anyone seen any benefit from using schema in the html of their website and gaining better oganic resultsi n Google?
Is tagging up pieces of content with this mark up language worth doing?
Any advice much appreciated as always.

If you are ranking at 2nd/3rd position and sites above you do not have rich snippet it does makes sense to include them ASAP as it attracts eyeballs and clicks.
In short, Rich Snippet definitely help in improving CTR which is a part of ranking signal.

Hi thanks for the reply.
I have a holiday website with lots of resort guides and i could tag up certain bits of information. I am happy to do it if i feel there will be benefit in the organic rankings. Just looking to see if anyone has seen this with doing it?

Hi Paul,
We have implemented Rich Snippets on several projects and we can see quite good results in traffic growth (note that our clients websites have top 5 spots, so basically the click through ratio has grown).
Implementing Rich snippets it's quite an easy thing to do, so I would advice you to do it, because in time it will bring back those few hours of work.
If you need help with implementing send me a PM.
I hope this helped,
Istvan

Schema for Data in Tables
I'm adding itemprops to data in a table. They are all the same type of data, but each row has different specifications. Is it best to put the data under one tag? Or separate each row into it's own tag?

Schema.org product offer with a price range, or multiple offers with single prices?
I'm implementing Schema.org, (JSON-LD), on an eCommerce site. Each product has a few different variations, and these variations can change the price, (think T-shirts, but blue & white cost $5, red is $5.50, and yellow is $6). In my Schema.org markup, (using JSON-LD), in each Product's Offer, I could either have a single Offer with a price range, (minPricd: $5, maxPrice $6), or I could add a separate Offer for each variation, each with its own, correct, price set. Is one of these better than the other? Why? I've been looking at the WooCommerce code and they seem to do the single offer with a price range, but that could be because it's more flexible for a system that's used by millions of people.

Can you mark up a page using Schema.org and Facebook Open Graph?
Is it possible to use both Schema.org and Facebook Open Graph for structured data markup? On the Google Webmaster Central blog, they say, "you should avoid mixing the formats together on the same web page, as this can confuse our parsers." Schema.org microformatting - itemprop within href tag?
I'm trying to implement microformatting on the site, specifically for the cities where we are active. I'm hoping this will help us rank in local search. This is what I have been doing: op="addressLocality">City Name In Google's Rich Snippets Testing Tool, that yields this: addresslocality = City Name However, I've also done this: City Name In Google's tool, that gave me this: addresslocality text = City Name

Schema for Services
There are many schemas for products, but I don't see any for services. They have intangible offers, but it's still for selling a product. I contacted Schema.org an no response. Here is the schema: http://schema.org/Offer So my question for someone who sells a service: What is the schema for a service like insurance, shipping, financial services?
