Google Keyword Tool Showing Conflicting Data
-
Google Adwords Keyword Tool is showing different data for the same keywords.
Broad Match
Local Search Volume is 2400 apiece logged in from my main account.
Local Search Volume 3600 and 1900 logged in from a different account.
Can anybody explain this? I have screenshot of both.
-
I wonder if it has anything to do with semantics?
Main account:
Broad Match, Local Volume
shape magnets - 2400
shaped magnets - 2400
Other account:
Broad Match, Local Volume
shape magnets - 3600
shaped magnets - 1900

Yes. I've used this tool thousands of times over the past few years and have made sure all settings are similar across the board.
-
There has been LOADS of examples of this happening before (so you are not alone) but I have yet to see a really good answer to the problem really. I'd love to know the answer to this too!
-
It sounds obvious but in each account, are the Google localisation settings the same and the geo-targeting in the AdWords tool the same?

KEYWORDS: How can I find keywords to target now that the majority of searches have been hidden from keyword planner?
Hello Community, I am not an expert and I need some advice. So thank you for your time 🙂 I read that Google is not showing the same amount of search volume data it was showing before (like up until 2-3 weeks ago, after the NSA scandal) and that now it's changed the way we should look at which keyword groups to target since we dont know anymore how many people actually searched for these terms. Say I want to start a new site around the topic "french chocolate" (just joking, but say I want to). How do I find out today which is the most searched term in that keyword group/cluster? I mean this in terms of volume of searches. Please help, I need some guidance on how to approach my content developmente strategy from now on, I always heavily relied on keywords and that got me awesome results in less than a year! Thank you again for your time Best

Does Google still have a standard search result? How can I get it?
I have heard a lot from the experts that there are no "Standard" Google search results anymore. They said that most of the SERP's of Google that show up are customized/tailored for each individuals even if they are not logged-in using their Google Custom Search. My questions are, Is there still a way to retrieve the standard Google search result? How? Are these scripts will be helpful when searching on Google? *webhp?

How do i get a description in my google local listing
My site is listed in the serps at number one but where google used to list the name of my site with the meta description below it, now Google lists my site title with my address to the right side and below it says Google+page instead of listing my meta description which had my key search phrase in it and also a call to action to see my video on my site. My click through was much better with the meta description below it and the call to action. is there any way i can get the description back under my title in the serps? Maybe by deleting my Google + page? Thanks in advance, Ron

Bing beats google to disavow links
You can now disavow bad links in Bing WMT, google has stated they will be doing the same, this should shake up the rankings when many sites get penalties lifted http://www.bing.com/community/site_blogs/b/webmaster/archive/2012/06/27/disavow-links-you-don-t-trust.aspx

Why has my places ranking dropped off google?
I've recently worked for a company who up untill 3 weeks ago have shown up in the google places ranked at number 1 for the following key phrases. First Aid Training in Cornwall
Industry News | | it-ok
First Aid Courses in Cornwall
Health and Safety Training in Cornwall as well as several more... However over the past 3 weeks they have gradually dropped out of the places listing all together, and I'm struggling to understand why this might be. Yesterday I released a new website for them which has had a lot more SEO input in to the site, is this likely to have an affect on the places ranking? the website is www.insafehandstraining.com Any answers would be very appreciated.0 -
Does anyone have a copy of the 2011 Google Quality Raters Handbook that was recently leaked?
http://searchengineland.com/download-the-latest-google-search-quality-rating-guidelines-97391 Google has been on a conquest taking them down online but I would really like to take a look at it if you have a copy! How does recent Google update affect e-commerce sites:
Most ecommerce sites use the original manufacturer product descriptions in their content. The product features and specifications are the content made by the manufacturer. Sometimes manufacturers insist that the ecommerce sites should use their original content and it is impossible to change what available in the original content and rewrite it.
