Competitive Link Analysis Tool?
-
Hi, I ran a competitive link analysis report today and back came quite a few domains that 2 or more of my 5 main competitors link from.
Is it worth me submitting links to these sites? And would i be best served submitting my homepage URL or submitting a brand page such as Creative Recreation Trainers? I want to target that brand but don't want to do it if my main URL is better?
Any ideas? See below my report.

Hi,
Our competitors are bigger and have more money than us. Not to mention the site before I joined was just left to rot, so its well behind.
I have built up a strong social network and I am currently trying to increase the number of back links we have. Was around 9 root domains when I joined, now up to 55. But our competitors have something silly for there numbers.
So I feel if I can use these links to at least get us something, then it must help a bit. I am being picky and I am using other means of getting links such as twitter, facebook, blog articles published and writing my own unique content.
Really just need to get more links pointing to us, the more from relevant fields the better.
Is there anything within SEOMoz Tools that can look for blogs in your industry (ie. Designer Menswear?) or is that a case of looking, looking and looking some more?
Cheers

Just a few thoughts.
No knowing what you are currently sitting with in regard to links, it is tough to say, but, I would certainly consider obtaining some links, just be a little picky.
That said, some of those in this list are not going to do much for you as they are very large and often you will be simply one business on a long page of competitors.
Its valuable to see lists such as this to see where your competition has aquired links and of what quality, but I really like to see where your competition is not; then make a run at some of those location.
I am more and more a fan of getting the links via networking and personal communication rather than submissions. They take can take some work to get, but are more than likely very much worth the effort.
Cheers!

Broken links in the pdf of the On Page Report
Hi, I run an individual On Page report for a particular URL, then I export as pdf. The URL appears in the pdf and looks fine but when you click on it it goes to a 'page not found'. I know the URL is correct. When I hover over the URL in the pdf i notice that the word 'Good' is at the end of my URL but I did not put this in there. if I give the report to a client it doesn't look so good. http://www.narellanpools.com.au/local-contact/narellan-pools-alburywodongaGood Is this a bug? Why doesn't the BBB / Trustlink.org links show up in the Link Analysis?
I am curious why one of my client's main competitors (www.allbayhardwood.com) shows links from the Better Business Bureau and Trustlink.org (associated with BBB) but links from those sources do not show up for his domain (www.sanjosehardwoodfloors.com). He has been a BBB Acredited Business since 12/2010 and on file with them for probably as long as they have had the online version, which seems like plenty of time for the link to have been picked up. BBB has a very nice domain authority and it would be great to see these links show up. (they don't show up in webmaster tools either) Is there something I am missing? Thanks in advance guys and gals! (I know the site has other SEO issues - just getting started on pounding everything out.)
