Linking C Blocks - SEOMoz says its a good thing?

In the competitve analysis, one competitor have more Linking C Blocks, Seomoz has a tick by it almost like its a better thing.
Surely a site with the same administrative relationship is not going to help you as much from a linking point of view.

Different IPs, especially from different networks, is one way that engines determine how related the linker is to the linkee. It's not a foolproof thing (especially in this day and age of cloud hosting, where you could have sites around the globe easily and cheaply).
Still, it's better than nothing so SEOMOZ kindly tells you your IP diversity.

By Linking C Blocks they are talking about the number of different c blocks linking to the domain (not the number that are somehow linked together). So, definitely a good thing.

Spam links with high DA
I'm running through the spam analysis and noticed a few links that are considered to be 9+ on the spam score (high spam level), but some of them have DA of 60 -75. How can this be possible? When I view the sites they appear to be be pretty low quality. If i'm considering disavowing a site should I focus on spam score or DA? A DA of 75 is a pretty reputable standing.

Total External Links
Hi There, I'm looking at my link profile and my Total External Links dropped uber dramatically back in April. Any way to figure out what the heck happened? My only idea is that this was around the time we launched a new version of the website but I'm not sure it corresponds exactly and anyway the domain didn't change. Possibly some urls did but all have been redirected. Any ideas? Thanks, site is www.nationalpardon.org

No internal links showing up in OpenSiteExplorer report
Hi there A simple one. I was just looking at our site in opensiteexplorer and notice that it says we have no internal links at all: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s244/sh/dd8cc88f-fee4-4ba2-8ec0-f3f8d5c408db/8d3fc3d2aa6fc9d5406051bc91731402 Rather odd as we do. Is this a bug with OSE that anyone knows about or something else? Any ideas / thoughts gratefully received.

how is it that our website and our two competitors basically have the exact same link graph, except for at different levels?

OSE Link Report Question.
Hi, when i export a link report as a csv file via the export tool on OSE, there is a column in the exported table called "Numder of Link". Please explain me, what does this column says exactly. Its located between "Domain Authorithy" and "Number of Domains Linking to Domain". Thanx, Seb.

Help with SEOmoz API
Hi guys, I'm trying to make API requests from my webserver via PHP. I'd like to retrieve data from the SEOmoz URL Metrics API. Unfortunately I always get the error response "unauthorized" even when I copy and paste the Sample Valid API Signature generated by your system into the browser. Is Signed Authentication not longer supported? I even tried the sample PHP Code SignedAuth.php but there's the same problem, too. If signed authentication is not longer available, do you have a code example for the basic http authorization? Thanks, Brandon
