Sites Blocking Open Site Explorer? Penguin related.
-
Last week I was looking at a competitors site who has a link scheme going on and I could actually check the links for each anchor text.
This week they don't work at all, do you think they're blocking the rogerbot on their domains? Or is there a problem with open site explorer?

If you're interested in the background, all the links are to instant-home-biz . com which then redirects decks . ca - it's a tricky technique. Pretty much all of the links are from sketchy sites like:
airpr23.vacation-4-free.com/airpr23.blogfreeradio.net/airpr23.blogomatik.com/http://www.morcandirect.com/mortgages/resources2.php which I thought Penguin was supposed to catch…

Hello Nathan,
It seems that www.decks.ca redirects to www.decks.ca/. The forward slash at the end of the address should be included in your OSE search. Please try that and confirm that it works for you. We apologize for the confusion on this one.
I've confirmed the data displays properly here: http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/anchors?site=www.decks.ca%2F

Get into Google : New Sites
I have a brand new website. It was created 10 days ago. How long would it take for it to show up in search results? I understand that since the site is new, there are no sites sending it backlinks. Also, i have optimized the page for my keyword "xyz" and it received an A grade. The site does not figure even in the top 50 results. Please help me out. It is a one page web application that needs to drive traffic to survive.

Find out what keywords a site is ranking for
I want to find out what keywords a site is ranking for. In other words, I want to find out how Google is currently seeing a site. I've used Google KW tool - not very accurate when you simply type in the URL. Is there anything in SEOMoz I can use? New to this. thanks

Comparing with Open Site Explorer
Hi, I am trying to compare a website that has a url of e.g. https://mysite.com on Open Site Explorer. Any idea how to do this? It will only compare it when I use www and it also doesn't accept https. So I am comparing www.mysite.com which has redirects on it https://mysite.com but I am worried it's not comparing the right stats? If this makes sense and you can help it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Open Site Explorer Page Authority
Hello, I ran a report on my website at http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/links?site=www.carrentalbuddy.com.au and noticed my page authority went to 1. I also noticed a lot of our results that were showing high page authority have dropped right down. I checked other sites and they all seemed fine but was wondering if this is a open site explorer issue or a a www.carrentalbuddy.com.au issue? Kindest Regards, Chris

Yahoo Site Explorer died. Does DA and PA Seomoz parameters have all it takes to replace YSE?
We're trying to simplify our link analysis job when acquiring a new external link. We're wondering to know if Domain Authority Seomoz parameter is all what we need to take a decision. Does DA Seomoz parameter takes into consideration 'domain age', 'alexa ranking', 'dmoz links', indexed pages on google', and 'inbound links vs outbound links'?
