Google picking up wrong page title
-
Hi,
When searching for "Tottenham Forum" on google.co.uk (link below)
The site I manage (THFCTalk.com) is listed as 4th in the search results, but was hacked a few months ago and the search results lists the page title as "Free Shipping. Order Cialis Online. - Online Pharmacy" when the actual page title of THFCTalk is not actually set at that.
Any idea how to fix this so Google updates this header on the search results? - as it is surely putting people off from clicking on our search result

Have you removed the malicious code? If so, is THFCTalk registered with Google Webmaster Tools? If the code has been removed you can file a reconsideration request in there. If you haven't, you can also see which pages are affected. All websites should be registered with Webmaster Tools (and the Bing equivalent)! You can set up alerts so Google e-mail you about any major problems they find.
Here are some links that should help you, whatever stage you're at:

Metadata configured, but Google only shows URL with sitelinks. Something wrong with my code?
Hi guys! I have a metadata problem with my home page. If I look for the brand's keyword, the SERPs don´t show the metadata I configured, instead it shows the URL with sitelinks. If I use the "site:" command, it doesn't appear at all. This happens only on the home page, not the rest, which are roughly 700 pages. Those appear fine. I already have a meta title and meta description configured, which include the mentioned KW. It used to appear correctly before. GSC shows it indexed. Most audit tools (configured to crawl JS) detect the metadata. Moz's On Page tool doesn't. Could it be because of the JS configuration? Or am I missing something else? Here´s the meta description code:What do you think? I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!

Web Page Dropped Out of Google?
One of our web pages seems to have completely dropped out of Google after featuring on page 1 for a number of years. It can't be a site wide issue as all other web pages are performing as normal. The page is http://www.contractormoney.com/income-protection/ and the key phrase it was performing well for was 'contractor income protection'. Any ideas??

How do I get my pages to go from "Submitted" to "Indexed" in Google Webmaster Tools?
Background: I recently launched a new site and it's performing much better than the old site in terms of bounce rate, page view, pages per session, session duration, and conversions. As suspected, sessions, users, and % new sessions are all down. Which I'm okay with because the the old site had a lot of low quality traffic going to it. The traffic we have now is much more engaged and targeted. Lastly, the site was built using Squarespace and was launched the middle of August. **Question: **When reviewing Google Webmaster Tools' Sitemaps section, I noticed it says 57 web pages Submitted, but only 5 Indexed! The sitemap that's submitted seems to be all there. I'm not sure if this is a Squarespace thing or what. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

For example, the title looks likes this after the Google change: Company name: SEO and Pay per click management But in on that page it looks like this: SEO and Pay per click management - Company name Does anyone know why?

Web page is showing up on Google but doesn't show when it was cached, so is it indexed?
Hey everyone So I created a new page on a WordPress website, it was live for a few hours till I changed my mind & switched it back to a draft. Just out of curiosity I did the Site:www.example.com/Example search on Google to see if it had been indexed & apparently it had but when I click on cached to see what time it got indexed at exactly it's showing me an error. So does this mean it is indexed or not?

Is creating backlinks to Google places pages worth the time and money involved?
I have worked on a website and organically it is starting to do fine. The website itself is on the right track. Now, the places page, could use a little improvement. I did make sure it has the right categories, has all unique pictures and videos, it does have a good amount of reviews and even citations from other local directories, and even the website links to it. It does show up for some local searches but I would like it to dominate more. I've heard that if I've built links to that Google Places local page from other sources, it would rank higher and perform better. Is that true? Any other tips and tricks to make it perform better? Thank you

Does Google pass link juice a page receives if the URL parameter specifies content and has the Crawl setting in Webmaster Tools set to NO?
The page in question receives a lot of quality traffic but is only relevant to a small percent of my users. I want to keep the link juice received from this page but I do not want it to appear in the SERPs.
