Warrior Forum, Is it good for seo?

The Warrior Forum just changed there membership from free to paid. They have do follow attributes but I was wondering what peoples take is on joining them for both learning and seo purposes?

Agreed with everyone above. I started there as well and got fed up with the "overnight results, push-button easy!".
There are some smart people with good stuff on there, but too much to wade through to find it.
Your time is much better spent on SEOmoz, in my opinion

There may be a little worthwhile info on the site, but it's a very bad neighborhood, IMHO.

Like others have said, you have to wade through a lot of noise to find the nuggets of good content on the Warrior Forum. However, the paid forum has a better S/N ratio than the free forum, and it's a fairly inexpensive one-time fee to join, so I think it's a pretty good deal. I am personally a member.

I completely agree with Ben.
You can find a lot of useful info on the Warrior forums and there are some really good SEO's on there but you often have to wade through a lot of misleading information to get to the real pearls of wisdom. I probably wouldn't pay for acces to it either.

I used to spend a ton of time on the Warrior forum. Every once in a while there is a worthwhile discussion, but mostly people are looking to sell their products. When I first became interested in SEO, I even bought a few of their guides. And while they were not completely useless, most of them didn't tell me anything that I could not have learned for free on a blog.
I personally would not pay for being a member of the Warrior Forum. In the Post-Penguin world, many of the tactics expoused there are not only useless, but can be detrimental to the health of your websites. Maybe I am painting with too broad a brush, but there it is.

You can learn a lot.
But what you'll learn is probably a lot different from what you'll hear on SEOMoz.
I wouldn't want to say that one is right and one is wrong but right now I wouldn't pay for access to Warrior Forums.

Community Consensus: Are These Good Links?
I recently used a firm to do 2 months of outreach as a test for quality of work. Their reporting process is monthly, which seems fair, but after the first month's report I was sorely disappointed with the targeted domains for links. Apparently, the firm decided to condense the two months of outreach in to 4 days, so by the time I was finally able to see the work, the "job is done." Again, extremely disappointed. The original SOW was to target set posts for outreach in month 1, review/adjust and move in to month 2. No dice. So, here I am now left with a list of sites that have been targeted for outreach, being told "they are quality sites." What do you think, am I missing something and these are truly good links? Good idea? bad idea?
Hi guys there's a campaign (which I am very passionate about) to save our village pub from being developed. Now I have bought a domain name www dot SaveTheRoyalOak dot com I've forwarded this domain to sussexchef.com/save-the-royal-oak I'm using forward masking so the url remains save the royal oak, I will contain the few pages to do with the pub so that the navigation bars are hidden so the site will pretty much look be it's own entity to the user. this micro site will get hundreds of users and people linking to it, My question is will this hurt my site at all? I'm guessing that when I ask people to link to it I should get them to "no follow" it to be on the safe side? Thanks for your help All the best Ben

Has Anyone used Eyeflow SEO out of Pittsburgh
We are looking to have a third party do some white hat link building for us because we currently do not have the resources to do so in house and do not want to rush into a hire. We are looking at eyeflow because they are local to our area and we would have the opportunity to personally see how they do things. How to focus SEO efforts on a single country?
I hope this one isn't too obvious a question to ask, as I'm sure it's been asked before. However - I'm considering a new site which would be focussed entirely on a UK market. US and other world traffic would be effectively useless. Using social media and standard linkbuilding techniques, how do I focus my efforts on the UK market? Getting links from .co.uk, I guess - what else? Or is it just "SEO generally and some of it'll be for the UK"?
