Can anyone tell me why the bot has only picked up one page?

www.namebadgesinternational.co.nz
After the 2nd week, I changed the robots.txt file to allow ALL robots on the website, but it still hasn't gone through any pages after another crawl
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Hi again,
Since there are a lot of directives in this that are specific to certain conditions in your site that we cannot see, you should leave them alone.
Your redirect should appear at the beginning of the .htaccess anyway, so your best course of action is:
- Make a copy of your existing .htaccess file with a different name so that you cannot accidentally lose it by overwriting
- Place your redirect code at the beginning of the .htaccess (remembering that "RewriteEngine On" should appear only once)
- Save and upload your new .htaccess file
- Check in your browser to see if the redirect works (as many known pages as possible)
- If it works, CELEBRATE!
- It it breaks, replace your file with your copy of the original and ask the original developer, or one with access to the detail of your site to sort it out for you.
Incidentally, the rule you have above will redirect from www to non-www...just to be sure that is what you intended.
Hope that helps,
Sha

This post by the help desk about why a full crawl isn't being done may also be helpful.

Hi designsecrets,
I'm assuming that you are referring to the SEOmoz bot (Roger) and seeing only one page of your site crawled.
If this is correct, then there has been a similar known issue in the past.
You will need to go to SEOmoz Help and ask the Help Team to look at the campaign and sort out the problem for you. Make sure that you provide them with your campaign number and/or domain to make it easy for them to locate the problem.
You can also access the Help area by clicking the Help link at the top right of any page on the site.
Hope that helps,
Sha

Hi,
A quick search on Google for site:namebadgesinternational.co.nz shows other pages are being indexed.
I can see a few other issues too, for instance the canonicalization of your domain and homepage, your homepage can be accessed via www, non-www, index.php and though root /
It may be a good idea to log into your Google Webmaster tools account (assuming you have one) and check Diagnostics for crawl errors and similar.
Also our robots blocks /cgi-bin but leaves 404 and login pages open to indexation (i would personally block these as i don't want my visitors landing on them).
Check out http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/canonicalization for more info on canonicals.
best of luck...

Can someone that had (or seen) a Manual Action in WMTs tell me.....
This is a repost of this question http://moz.com/community/q/manual-action-found-in-wmts-no-email-no-message-in-wmts But I'm sure there is someone in the moz fourms that have had/seen manual action 🙂 Someone I know said that they were looking though their WMTs and under Manual Actions they found they had a partial penalty. There is no date against it and they never got an email and there are no messages WMTs for it. I haven't personally dealt with a Manual penalty before, but I would have expected there to be a message in WMTs for it ( an email might have been missed because of a spam filter etc). Could it be a very old penalty?

Duplicate Page Titles
I had an issue where I was getting duplicate page titles for my index file. The following URLs were being viewed as duplicates: www.calusacrossinganimalhospital.com www.calusacrossinganimalhospital.com/index.html www.calusacrossinganimalhospital.com/ I tried many solutions, and came across the rel="canonical". So i placed the the following in my index.html: I did a crawl, and it seemed to correct the duplicate content. Now I have a new message, and just want to verify if this is bad for search engines, or if it is normal. Please view the attached image. i9G89.png

http://www.1oxygen.com/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/1oxygen/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/oxusportableconcentrator.htm These are actaully pages somehow. In my FTP there in the first /portableconentrators/ folder there is about 12 html documents and no other folders. It looks like it is creating a page for every possible folder combination. I have no idea why you those pages above actually work, help please???0 -
Does page speed affect what pages are in the index?
We have around 1.3m total pages, Google currently crawls on average 87k a day and our average page load is 1.7 seconds. Out of those 1.3m pages(1.2m being "spun up") google has only indexed around 368k and our SEO person is telling us that if we speed up the pages they will crawl the pages more and thus will index more of them. I personally don't believe this. At 87k pages a day Google has crawled our entire site in 2 weeks so they should have all of our pages in their DB by now and I think they are not index because they are poorly generated pages and it has nothing to do with the speed of the pages. Am I correct? Would speeding up the pages make Google crawl them faster and thus get more pages indexed?

If you only want your home page to rank, can you use rel="canonical" on all your other pages?
If you have a lot of pages with 1 or 2 inbound links, what would be the effect of using rel="canonical" to point all those pages to the home page? Would it boost the rankings of the home page? As I understand it, your long-tail keyword traffic would start landing on the home page instead of finding what they were looking for. That would be bad, but might be worth it.
