Hey Mike,
I'm sorry you're so frustrated with the issues in the index lately - I know it's an inconvenience, but, I assure, you the team has been working all hours to work out these kinks!
In fact, after many nights and weekends sacrificed, we're looking at probably being early on our next release. The bugs will be much less evident in this next index as the stale crawl data is dropped from the index.
I know that doesn't help you out right now. Can you send me some details on the corruption you're seeing? A full OSE link with all the parameters would be perfect as well as a CSV, if you have one. If you don't feel comfortable posting in Q&A, please email me at carin@seomoz.org.
This sounds like the same bug we saw emerge in this index, and have since fixed, but I want to make sure that is the case.
Again, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this is causing - we are working hard at ironing out these final issues!
Thanks,
Carin -
Quick question regarding this issue (I also saw the corrupted anchors)...
Now when I view anchors to a URL in OSE, the data still looks corrupted, but even stranger, when I create a .csv download, the data is very different, with different anchors!
Is this a new issue, or just a variation of the existing one?
I have several reports that I need to create, and they require the OSE anchors data... Any ideas on when there will be a fix for this, as 'soon' isn't a good thing to tell our clients
To be honest, I love SEOMoz, but I really think that as this is a paid membership that is also targeted at professionals, then there should have been email updates etc about this issue, to keep us all in the loop... Come on Moz team, you can do better feedback than this, I know you can coz your great!

This just came to our attention yesterday and our engineers have been investigating over the weekend. It appears to be fallout from the parsing bug that caused the initial delay of this index launch.
We're still investigating, but we do have another index in the works, with the parsing bug no longer present. We hope to have this ready in the next two weeks. In the meantime, we're looking into how we can remedy this current anchor text portion.
If you would like to read more about the parsing bug, Phil provided a great explanation in the forum article here.
Sorry for the inconvenience this will cause - we're looking into ways to remedy this as soon as we can!
Thanks,
Carin -
I'm also seeing the same. Checked on several sites and they all had this issue.

Same here - very odd.

Anchor Text - easy loans spam
Hi Moz Gurus, I've been trying for over a year now to clean our website from a virus that hit us. This virus created internal links to these spam- pay day loans, easy loans websites, as well as thousands of external links linking to our domain, and for a while our page redirected to another website. From thousands of links we've managed to get it down to 300, now to 100 ( changed into 410) URL errors that still appear on google webmaster tools under crawl errors. We had our website on Wordpress, currently we are working manually using FTP access. Looking at Moz Open Site Explorer - 90% of the Anchor text for the Root Domain appear as : easy pay day loans etc. How do I get rid of this? Or what is to do in this case? Does it reflect bad on the SEO that the anchor text is not matching our keywords? Looking forward to your reply. If you wish to look at the website: www.manvanlondon.co.uk

On Page URL's not updating?
I recently moved my site to Shopify which completely changed the URL structure. I went to my old pages and created permanent 301 redirects to my new pages on shopify. For some reason, the On Page reports are not picking up on one of the new pages. This is effecting my grading. Just wondering why this is happening & whether this may be an indication of a larger problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

0 values reported in anchor text distribution report
Can anyone explain the rows of 0 values for the majoity of anchor text reported in the Anchor Text Distribution section of OSE ? e.g I ran a report for a website which has around 2,500 inbound links and when I looked at the CSV file, there are about 1,500 anchor texts showing as 0. I'm sure there's either a simple explanation for this or its just a glitch. Can anyone help?

Does OSE Anchor Text Distribution CSV include internal links or external only?
Quite often when I'm using OSE and perform a CSV export, it looks like the total inbound link count and many phrases come from internal links for the domain in question. I haven't had the time to try and figure this out and don't know exactly how to go about figuring it out. So the initial question is does OSE's anchor text distribution CSV include internal links or are they external only? And alternately, how do I test for this? I deal with sites that have tens or hundreds of thousands of pages and hundreds of thousands or millions of links...
