Is it ok to get 300 quality backlinks ... from different authoritative domains in one month...I think google might find it strange and I might get penalized...

IMO the only way to get 300 quality backlinks in a short period of time would be to have some content go SUPER viral and create natural links to your site.
Rebekah's right. If you get 300 links because you sponsored an event, those very well could be considered paid links.

I think with that you would risk the chance of Google viewing those as paid links, so I would be careful. I think you should request that some of them be no-followed. Then work on attaining other types of backlinks with that strategy, through stuff like guest posting and writing quality articles on your own blog, doing some type of interesting study in your niche that may be posted to news outlets, etc.

Am planning to sponsor events on all the top blogs in my niche...so I can easily earn back link with carefully placed anchor text (I know about penguin update)...and therefore rank for keywords I want to rank for as I have almost NIL competition for those keywords in my country

Well, everyone might define "quality" different - so I would hate to say "yea that's TOTALLY fiine" but then find out that quality backlinks meant 300 press releases to you

Get number of OUTBOUND link from a domain ??
Hello I´m doing some link profile audit and I noticed that there are some data that would be nice to know for a proper evaluation. The case is the following: Imagine I have a link coming from a blog, so (besides other factors) would be really great to know how many external links follow-nofollow this blog has. I dont mean external links pointing to them (what opensite gives you), what I would like to know is the total number of links this blog has pointing to other external websites. With this data, I would be able to guess in a better way if this blog is selling links or if is spammy. I would be able to know also how this blog/domain distributes its link juice and if the link gives me some value or if is dangerous. I have found some tools/sites but i just get the number of links a specific url has, not the domain info: Screaming frog (but the free version gives you almost nothing, link count checker, etc... ) Do you know any way to get this data in a domain level? You think this data would be important to decide about keeping a link or taking it out? Why none of the powerful tools of the market (opensite, majestic, etc...) provide this info? Backlink Building to Facebook?
Would there be any benefit to building some backlinks to your social media profiles (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), considering that you're linking to yourself regularly from them anyway? There are a few SEO companies that I would like to try out, but I figure why not try them out on my social media profiles first, before having them do any work directly to my site. Thoughts?

Effectiveness of Forum Backlinks: specifically Paul's Backlinks
I know the general consensus is that these kinds of backlinks are of low value, however I'm curious as to anyones present day experience with them and if they are providing any value. More specifically, I am curious if they can do harm. I don't see how they could, as it would be a very easy tactic for an unscrupulous competitor to sabotage another by implementing them for their competitors. I can see possibly losing rank if they were discounted, however if this is the case, then it would only be rank that would not have been gained in the first place, minus those kinds of links. I ask because I have competing websites who have started to outrank me (they have been climbing and improving through each Google algorithm change in the past year), despite the fact that my mosrank and authority are better than every single one of them. But they have a sheer growing volume of backlinks that I can't match (seemingly low value when I look at their link profiles). Plus my domain is older (9 years as opposed to 3-4 years), and my site is clearly better (in terms of aesthetics, usability, content, etc), as well as my link profile being selectively cultivated from truly relevant sites. None the less, they are starting to kill me at this point -and I don't have the luxury of time. So....I was wondering about the wisdom of upping my volume of forum type links, as this is the only area of measurement where I can see my competitors are beating me. I am a believer in true, difficult, quality inbound marketing - however it is not getting the job done. Any thoughts on this?

Backlinks not showing up in the campaign crawl
I have been adding backlinks, about 110 since the last crawl, but only 14 new linking domains showed in my campaign profile. Can someone explain? Is it that the linking domains were not crawled and thus not seen. Is it that the crawl posting is from data that was crawled a long time ago (4-6 weeks ago) and it took a while for it to show up is it that the domains i got links on were, possibly, not so hot and just get filtered out?
