SEOmoz:

Sure do! Read to have your mind blown? I've seen the struggles you have been having with getting new users engaged. I get it... SEO is tough stuff after all - I'm here to help. Watch the attached video before continuing.

How about combining gaming elements along with leader board type tracking of progress. Kind of like launching a campaign for a site (but now it will be called a game). You progress as if playing a game and the result is your site gets "SEO'd."The beautiful part about this, you track where other users get stuck / give up and how others have overcome these difficulties - share this data as part of the game. Build a big enough user base and what do you get? Precise answers to the hardest of SEO questions -> e.g. why did my rankings fall? because you did this, this and this! incoming thunder cats reference Machine learning Ho!
I wouldn't suggest this idea to anyone but SEOmoz - it's hard but is totally doable for someone who created open site explorer.

One person's personalization can be another person's tracking and invasion of privacy. On a serious note, do you have some ideas for personalization that aren't as intrusive?

Thanks Keith.
This question was more of a subtle suggestion for more personalization

Personally I find those forum automated birthday emails annoying, why would you care if a forum (or more specifically a php script) wished you happy birthday?
Happy Birthday any ways...

September 7/1986
queue epic music
A day may come when we forsake our friends,
and break all bonds of fellowship,
but it is not this day.
An hour of wolves and shattered shields,
when the age of men comes crashing down,
but it is not this day!
This day we celebrate!!
By all that you hold dear on this good Earth,
I bid you hence, mark your calendars!
-
Probably because I don't think we record your birthday anywhere.
-
lol thnx!

I love the keyword stuffed forum name in that email BH to the core!
Happy birthday.

Is there a way you can determine the time SEOMoz crawls your website
I'm a new user to SEOMoz Pro, and having created a number of campaigns I wanted to know if you can set / schedule when SEOMoz crawls your website? Ideally I want to prevent SEOMoz from crawling my site at certain times, but I can't seem to find a way of doing this. Thanks in advance.

Why does SEOMoz think I have duplicate content?
The SEOmoz crawl report shows me a large amount of duplicate content sites. Our site is built on a CMS that creates the link we want it to be but also automatically creates it's own longer version of the link (e.g. http://www.federalnational.com/About/tabid/82/Default.aspx and http://www.federalnational.com/about.aspx). We set the site up so that there are automatic redirects for our site. Google Webmaster does not see these pages as duplicate pages. Why does SEOmoz consider them duplicate content? Is there a way to weed this out so that the crawl report becomes more meaningful? Thanks!

Are header directives such as X-Robots and Link supported by OSE/Linkscape/SEOMoz tools?
SEOMoz tool reports show lots of duplicate content where there are http header directives in place on pages to eliminate dupes. Googlebot obeys but Roger the robot doesn't. Are header directives such as X-Robots and Link (rel=canonical)Â supported by OSE/Linkscape? I'd like to put my mind and clients at ease. Thanks

Why are SEOmoz Pro Keyword Ranking reports different between two 301-linked URLs?
Hi, My main domain is www.dancenut.com. Â I have this 301 URL redirected to www.dancenut.com/boston/. Â I set up an SEOmoz Pro campaign for each of these URLs in order to see if they were being treated differently in any way. Â In most cases the report results are identical, or the small differences are understandable. However, there is one big difference between the two sets of campaign reports. Â In the Keyword Ranking reports, the data for the Bing and Yahoo! reports are identical, but the data for the Google reports are dramatically different. Â Out of 21 keywords, 9 are listed in the top 50 for www.dancenut.com, but only 2 are listed in the top 50 for www.dancenut.com/boston/ (the specific positions are the same for the 2 keywords that are listed for both). Does this make any sense? Â Could the SEOmoz Pro data be wrong? Â If not, then I'm suspicious that Google may not be interpreting the 301 redirect properly. Â I don't think this could be fully explained by a 1-10% reduction in link juice due to the 301 because I have one keyword for which my site ranks #1 in Google, Bing, and Yahoo! with www.dancenut.com, but it doesn't even rank in the top 50 in Google with www.dancenut.com/boston/. Â And why would these differences only exist for Google? Any insight would be much appreciated! Andrew
