Facebook likes - how can I tell how many likes a product page has?
-
Without actually going to each product page and looking at the number next to the 'Like' button, is there any way of finding a list of all your pages and the number of Facebook likes on each?

Hi! A while back Tom Critchlow wrote a great post on how to use tools and APIs to gather Social Media data, I think this would help you out: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/how-to-track-your-social-media-strategy. Check out the post then scroll down to the part about using Google docs to connect to APIs. I think you should be able to do the same thing for your site if you have some sort of feed for your products.
Hope this helps!
Jen

If you know how to program you could use Facebook Graph API in order to populate this information directly from their server and display in the control panel of your system, but this requires some programming skills - so it's certainly not the easiest option.
Also - with this number of products perhaps you should populate this information in the background (if decided programming the module) using Cron or any other method as getting these information every time you refresh the page might be quite resource heavy.

If you want to check likes for each page on an eCommerce site then it's not ideal. Absolutely. However, you could easily install a plug in to the eCommerce software that showed you how many likes, tweets and +1's etc... Then you wouldn't need a tool.

The problem with that you have to do it page by page..... a bit time consuming if you have 3000+ products

in facebook insights, "like button" and then "popular pages" you can see what pages got liked over a time frame. But I can't get it to show any more than a 3 months time frame.
I'm sure there ,must be a better way....

International Social Media Pages
If your going to target multiple countries but who have same language (such as US & UK) which of the main social media accounts should you set up a country specific version for ? I know some like Google+ allow for sub-pages/listings for different localities/outlets etc so I presume you only need the one G+ company page (but pls confirm if you agree or not ?). I keep hearing peeps say set up country specific Twitter and FaceBook pages, do you agree ? and what about other main social sites like Pinterest & LinkedIn etc ? Thanks Dan

Explanation of Facebook referral paths in Google Analytics
In the past month I have seen a huge increase in the visits + conversions from Facebook (which is obviously great). However, from Google Analytics it appears that most of my visits are not coming from my brand page. Is there an explanation of what these referral paths mean? Top Facebook referral paths: / /l.php /home.php /ajax/emu/end.php /brand - much less visits than above URLs

Whats the SEO value of getting Likes to your brand's Facebook Page (not your site's URLs being Liked)?
UPDATED: I meant to say SEO VALUE, not just business value Lets say I have a site - www.company.com, and I set up a Facebook Page - www.facebook.com/company. I understand the SEO value of having the domain www.company.com "Liked", using the FB Like button on my homepage lets say, or the same goes for individual pages - www.company.com/page. My question is rather about having my Facebook Page - Facebook.com/company "Liked". Are those likes counted by the engines as a strong signal that www.company.com should rank well? Or only that the Facebook Page - Facebook.com/company should rank well in searches for that company?

What effect does Google Plus Business Pages have on SEO?
It looks like Google is putting a definite emphasis on social signals, through Google+ anyway. Has anyone tested the effect of social circles on SEO yet? Same effects as the "magical +1 button?" +1 on shifting your time and resources to Social Media?
