Google not showing my website ?
-
The website is medicare.md. if you search for term "medicare doctors PG county maryland" it is #1 in bing and yahoo but not even showing on google.com first TEN pages, although not banned.
Interestingly if you do that search on google.co.pk it is #4.
Quite Puzzuling !!
Would appreciate any help or advice .

Hi,
Can not really reconsider another domain as primary MEDICARE with correct spelling is restricted to Government entities (.gov,.com,.net) my only chance to get it with exact spelling was to opt for .md extention.
But will for sure utilize Geo targeting.
Thanks

I would personally reconsider the use of .md as the primary domain, although I think it would be appropriate for a vanity URL to use in offline advertisements, etc., that redirects to your website.
Google does not just use the Geotarget data:
http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=182192#2
Also, Google does not explicitly list .md in its list of ccTLDs that are considered generic:
http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1347922
In the above link, scroll down to this section:
Generic Country Code Top Level Domains (gccTLDs)
I'm not guaranteeing you that this is a problem, but I'm saying I would personally reconsider it if the site is still fairly NEW.

FYI you are showing on international versions of Google because of the .md (moldova, as Casey mentioned) extension. Here in Oz you're 9th for the search you mentioned. So you are showing up internationally because you have an international domain. I would suggest the "target users in the US" box as well. You may want to get some local citation listings if you can for Maryland, as well. That could geo-locate you in the "maryland" MD instead of Moldova, at least for Google's purposes.

I'm sure you may be aware that .md domain extension is for Moldova(apparently a country in Europe) which could explain your high ranking on that international Google site.
I would check Google Webmaster Tools under "Configuration > Settings" and make sure the "Target users in:" is set to United States.

Multilingual website
My website is https://www.india-visa-gov.in and we are doing multilingual. There are three options 1. TLD eg india-visa-gov.fr (French) india-visa-gov.de (German) 2. Subdomain eg: fr.india-visa-gov.in (French) de.india-visa-gov.in (German) 3. Folders https://www.india-visa-gov.in/fr/ (French) https://www.india-visa-gov.in/de/ (German) We have tried the 3rd option but need to know whether its better or not for the long term health from SEO. Does the MOZ DA carry better in Subdomain or TLD or Folders? What does MOZ recommend to maintain DA? Thanks

Moz/Google does not recognize text on Wix website
My client's website was built on Wix and despite having substantial content on web pages, Moz is claiming that there is very little-to-no content: Sufficient Characters/Words in Content. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've run a word count tool and it gives the same results. Website: pesclinical.com

I am Using Wix website creator. Will google be able to read the javascript?
I tried using some of the moz tools like the "on page grader" and it was not able to read any of the writing on my webpage because wix uses javascript. Will this impact my rankings on google compared to my competitors? The New Wix websites allow you to build a website in HTML. Should I switch to this? Thanks, Jonathan

Why is Google's cache preview showing different version of webpage (i.e. not displaying content)
My URL is: http://www.fslocal.comRecently, we discovered Google's cached snapshots of our business listings look different from what's displayed to users. The main issue? Our content isn't displayed in cached results (although while the content isn't visible on the front-end of cached pages, the text can be found when you view the page source of that cached result). These listings are structured so everything is coded and contained within 1 page (e.g. http://www.fslocal.com/toronto/auto-vault-canada/). But even though the URL stays the same, we've created separate "pages" of content (e.g. "About," "Additional Info," "Contact," etc.) for each listing, and only 1 "page" of content will ever be displayed to the user at a time. This is controlled by JavaScript and using display:none in CSS. Why do our cached results look different? Why would our content not show up in Google's cache preview, even though the text can be found in the page source? Does it have to do with the way we're using display:none? Are there negative SEO effects with regards to how we're using it (i.e. we're employing it strictly for aesthetics, but is it possible Google thinks we're trying to hide text)? Google's Technical Guidelines recommends against using "fancy features such as JavaScript, cookies, session IDs, frames, DHTML, or Flash." If we were to separate those business listing "pages" into actual separate URLs (e.g. http://www.fslocal.com/toronto/auto-vault-canada/contact/ would be the "Contact" page), and employ static HTML code instead of complicated JavaScript, would that solve the problem? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
