Order of urls in SEOMoz crawl report

Is there any rhyme or reason to the order of urls in the SEOMoz crawl report, or are the urls just listed in random order?

Hi Lynn,

I once spoke to an SEOmoz staff member about this, and they told me that there is no logic to the way Roger crawls a website - it's completely random. I have looked through my last 10 or so CSVs and each time I have a different order. The first few links of my latest report are from the second level of architecture, so I would concur that it is at least randomly reported, if not randomly collected.

Is the Moz Ranking Report correct?

Hello here, today I got my weekly report from Moz by email and it reported a strong decline of rankings on some of our major keywords. Then I went to check on Google personally, and instead I found my pages ranked much higher than reported by Moz (please note that my results wasn't personalized...). I also use a desktop program to check my rankings, and what I found personally on Google corresponded to what my desktop program reported me. Here is an example: my website is virtualsheetmusic.com, and Moz reported a rank NOT in top 50 for the following keyword: "moonlight sonata sheet music" Whereas we are actually on the 19th spot. Another example for the keyword "czardas violin sheet music", Moz reports NOT in top 50, whereas we are actually at the 5th spot on the first page of Google results! Why's this? Anyone can explain? Is there anything wrong with Moz ranking report?

Why seomoz crawler does not see my snapshot?

I have a web app that uses angularJS and the content is all dynamic (SPA). I have generated snapshots for the pages and write a rule to redirect ( 301) to the snapshot in case of find escaped_fragment in the URL. E.g http://plure.com/#!/imoveis/venda/rj/rio-de-janeiro Request: http://plure.com/?escaped_fragment=/imoveis/venda/rj/rio-de-janeiro is redirected to: http://plure.com/snapshots/imoveis/venda/rj/rio-de-janeiro/ The snapshot is a headless page generated by PhantomJS. Even following the guideline ( https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/docs/specification) I still can't see my page crawled and I also in SEOMoz I can only see the 1st page crawled with no dynamic content on it. Am I doing something wrong? SEOMoz was supposed to get the snapshot based on same rules of GoogleBot or SEOMoz does not get snapshots?

SEOMoz Question

Hi, I have taken over SEO on a real estate site with an internal blog. Unfortunately there are loads of duplicated pages and titles in the blog. It was suggested that all should be rel=canonical so not to show up. In my last crawl here though they still do. So question is if SEOMoz crawls and sees them is Google also seeing them? Also would it be best to move the blog off site so this does not cause anymore damage and just link to it from the main site? Thanks for your comments

Hi All, when i set a new campaign i am asked to decide if to use: domin-name.com Or www.domain-name.com Can someone please explain the different in terms of the campaign If i use: domain-name.com - will the campaign run on www.domain-name.com too? Thank you SEOwise

Crawl Diagnostics Shows thousands of 302's from a single url. I'm confused

Hi guys I just ran my first campaign and the crawl diagnostics are showing some results I'm unfamiliar with.. In the warnings section it shows 2,838 redirects.. this is where I want to focus. When I click here it shows 5 redirects per page. When I go to click on page 2, or next page, or any other page than page 1 for that matter... this is where things get confusing. Nothing shows. Downloading the csv reveals that 2,834 of these are all showing: URL: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php url: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php referrer: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php location_header: http://www.mydomain.com/401/login.php I guess I'm just looking for an explanation as to why it's showing so many to the same page and what possible actions can be taken on my part to correct it (if needed). How long is a full crawl?

It's been now over 3 days that the dashboard for one of our campaigns shows "Next Crawl in Progress!". I am not complaining about the length... but I have to agree that SEOMoz is quite addictive, and it's quite frustrating to see that everyday 🙂 Thanks

Moz crawling

Hi Everyone! I'm new to the SEOMoz and wanted to find out if there is a way to decrease the waiting time for the campaign crawl. I have made a lot of changes based on the first crawl and would like to see how these are reflected on the reports, but can't until the next crawl is performed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to handle crawl diagnostic errors for the same url. /products & /products/

I have copied on of the errors out of the crawl diagnostics report. Both /products and /products/ are returning an error, and both have pretty good domain authority so I feel like its hurting my site that these show up this way. Both urls create the same page, should I just setup a 301 on the /products with no slash or will that cause more harm...
