Testimonial pages

Is it better to have one long testimonial page on your site, or break it down into several smaller pages with testimonials?
First time I've posted on the forum. But I'm excited!

I just want to add a little bit to what Oleg said considering conversion-wise vs seo-wise.
One question you should ask yourself when considering what to do is, "What will help my end user decided to actual pay me for my product/service?" In your case, if you're wanting people to actually read the testimonials, shorter, and fewer is better because when someone sees a lot of text they tend to skip over it. This is why top 10 lists are effective as blog posts. The old adage of "you can't judge a book by its cover" should read "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover." I can and do judge by a cover. Magazine publishers have known this for a long time.

Thanks Oleg! The testimonials are customers of our jewelry store, Yates & Co Jewelers.

Thanks so much Tom. This helps me.

Hi Ron, welcome aboard!
I think you should approach this from a content perspective - if each of your testimonials are substantial enough to justify unique pages, then by all means go for it.
There's no particular % or threshold for a minimum number of words you should aim to have, but it might be a good idea to have at least 300+ words of unique content. This should be easily achievable if you include a history of the company you worked with, some quotes from them on the work you did, along with a general breakdown of the work you undertook and the results that you achieved. I don't know what services you provide, but it might also make more sense to have individual pages as the work you undertake for one company might be very different to another.
Keeping them separate as well might allow you to keep things organised in the future, should you get a steady stream of satisfied customers - and here's hoping you do!
As for the SEO benefit, there wouldn't be much difference between individual pages or one large one. A page with more content might rank for more long-tail keywords than several smaller ones (although they may not be particularly attractive keywords), whereas you could argue that a company might be more inclined to share the testimonial page, should it be a bespoke page that is unique to them and only includes them.

Welcome! Lots of great info and people floating around here, I'm sure you'll learn a lot!
SEO-wise, 1 long page
Conversion-wise, probably per service/product (x related testimonials would appear on the x service page, y testimonials on y service page, etc).
There is no reason to make 5 testimonial pages for the same service instead of just one.

Wrong Page Ranking?!?
I did some research today, one of our keywords is "mobile column lifts." I recently redid a page on our website to target this keyword. When I Google search this keyword I see that a page on our site titled "Reconditioned Mobile Lifts" is ranking for this keyword. I took a look with Moz, our mobile column lifts page ranks 90 for the keyword, and the reconditioned lifts page ranks 73 the keyword. Why is this happening? How can I fix this? https://www.slec.com/mobile-column-lifts/ https://www.slec.com/reconditioned-mobile-lifts/

Issue: Duplicate Page Content > Wordpress Comments Page
Hello Moz Community, I've create a campaign in Moz and received hundreds of errors, regarding "Duplicate Page Content". After some review, I've found that 99% of the errors in the "Duplicate Page Content" report are occurring due to Wordpress creating a new comment page (with the original post detail), if a comment is made on a blog post. The post comment can be displayed on the original blog post, but also viewable on a second URL, created by Wordpress. http://www.Example.com/example-post http://www.Example.com/example-post/comment-page-1 Anyone else experience this issue in Wordpress or this same type of report in Moz? Thanks for your help!

Specific Link Page in Domain
Hi everyone: I have seen that many SEO Agencies have contacted my business (Also SEO but In- House) in order to interchange links. They have created a specific page on their site with the Label "Links" or similar, and on that page they add multiple links of the competence. I have heard that you can only do that if you make sure you add two things: No follow in links. Not inserting links of websites that have nothing to do with our sector. Either way, I have never found this amusing. I always recommend people not to do this but I have my doubts after all. ¿Could some one give me their opinion? Cheers !

Duplicate Page Titles
I had an issue where I was getting duplicate page titles for my index file. The following URLs were being viewed as duplicates: www.calusacrossinganimalhospital.com www.calusacrossinganimalhospital.com/index.html www.calusacrossinganimalhospital.com/ I tried many solutions, and came across the rel="canonical". So i placed the the following in my index.html: I did a crawl, and it seemed to correct the duplicate content. Now I have a new message, and just want to verify if this is bad for search engines, or if it is normal. Please view the attached image. i9G89.png

Page Title Not Displayed in SERPS
Why would a page title not be displayed in the SERPS? Everything appears to be formatted correctly in the code, yet the title of the company gets displayed instead of the page title? Any general idea why this could be happening?
