Google authorship syntax, plus no follow

I have seen two forms of rel=author syntax. Are they both valid?

My goodness ! they atleast they can give a dofollow link ! this is bad !
As Irving told that no-follow will be a problem. link nofollow will be simple no backlink, but the authorship nofollow is new ! consider that advice of the expert one !
we sometimes make the link no-follow, but not for the author google plus !

It's not my choice to no follow the author credit; it's a policy on another site where I guest blog. I'm just wondering if they're causing me not to get authorship credit by adding the no follow.

I'm not sure about the syntax question, but I would think the nofollow would have a negative effect, why would you want to nofollow a link you want Google to follow to make the association?

No follow links on a blog
Hi On our blog, we have a section called 'Tags'. I have just noticed that these links are all "no follow" links. The tags section does appear on every single page on the blog - is this recommend to have them as 'no follow' links or should I get our developer to change them. Thanks

Google not indexing my website
Hi guys, We have this website http://www.m-health-expo.nl/ but it is not indexed by google. In webmaster tools google says that it can not fetch the site due to the robots.txt but i do not see any faults in it. http://www.m-health-expo.nl/robots.txt Do you see something strange, it really bothers me.

Authorship and Aggregate Rating in SERPS
I've setup authorship and aggregate rating information for our website. It all checks in the Structured Data Testing Tool, but the results in the SERPs have been on then off. At first my authorship image showed on all articles were the markup existed, then suddenly it went away. Then more recently, the aggregate rating information displayed on all pages were the markup existed, then again, it suddenly disappeared. I'm curious if anyone knows if the disappearance of these things are the result of manual action from Google or simply because the algorithm gathering more information that would cause the items to stop showing for one reason or another? In both cases the markup didn't change previous to the results disappearing. This leads me to believe the change in the SERPs wasn't a result of the markup, but rather something on Google's side.

Where does Google pull the date stamp?
We're a news media site with content that has been live for a few years. All of a sudden, Google is showing our content (even though no one has touched the file) with a date stamp of '3 days ago'. Even for content that is years old. I checked the date it was last cached, and it doesn't even match. The URLs were last cached on January 16, but the date stamp says '3 days ago.' From where does Google pull the date stamp? Any ideas?

How can I optimise for Google Products?
Has anyone got experience of optimising Google Products (Google Base) feeds? I've noticed that, although my site doesn't often appear on page one in the standard results, we occasionally appear right at the top because of the "universal" shopping results. My question is: how can we make this happen more often? There seems to be a lot less competition (presumably because our competitors haven't worked out how to provide the feed to Google yet!), so I imagine it should be easier and quicker to reach the top this way than any other way. Google Sandboxing
I have a new site with a new domain that ranked well the 1st week or so after it was indexed then it totally dropped off the SERP. My question is, does Google Sandboxing affect new sites on new domains that don't have any incoming links? The site dropped off before I began link building - from what I've read unnatural link build is often the cause. Can you still be sandboxed without any link building? If this is the case, are there things I can do to get out of the sandbox? Thanks folks, Jason
