Different website is shown when searched for content
-
Hello,
Have any body experienced this situation, When i take a content from http://www.creativethemes.net e.g. from home page and search it on google, search results shows FMEextensions with that content. FME had never ever used that data, it can not be found in sources files either, also this data was never written and placed on FME site but it is shown with FME
How can this happen and what do you suggest to resolve it?
-
Have a look at the top of the cached page for all the info you need. However, it won't tell you when they added content.
-
Yes i can see that, but wondering when was it placed on that page so that Google cached it.
-
OK, do exactly this:
Search for "Find Free Themes for Magento and other platforms"
On the FME page, roll over to see the cached version of the page and then click on "Cached". You then want to click on "Text Only Version" and scroll to the bottom. You will see the following:

It has never been used on FME,
-
If you click on the cached version of the page and then click on "Text Only Version", scroll to the bottom and you will see where it has been used.
it was there, but looks like it has been changed and I suspect Google will catch up with this at some point.

Hello Andy,
I meant the text on home page, just like below, search it on Google please and you will find FME.
"Find Free Themes for Magento and other platforms which are mostly reviewed and rated by customers and can increase clients' conversion rates for you beyond your expectations. All eCommerce templates come with free support, upgrades and complete documentation. Enjoy Christmas discounted website themes right now!"

I am a little confused what you are actually searching for. You said that "When i take a content from http://www.creativethemes.net", can you give me an example of what you are taking from the homepage?
If I search for Magento Templates or Magento Themes, I don't see this "FME" site come up.
-
Hello Andy, i mentioned above,
URL http://www.creativethemes.net
Keywords are Magento Themes, Magento Templates
-
Can you give us the URLs and search terms please? Need to have a look to fully understand what is going on.
Andy

Blacklisted website no longer blacklisted, but will not appear on Google's search engine.
We have a client who before us, had a website that was blacklisted by Google. After we created their new website, we submitted an appeal through Google's Webmaster Tools, and it was approved. One year later, they are still unable to rank for anything on Google. The keyword we are attempting to rank for on their home page is "Day in the Life Legal Videos" which shouldn't be too difficult to rank for after a year. But their website cannot be found. What else can we do to repair this previously blacklisted website after we're already been approved by Google? After doing a link audit, we found only one link with a spam score of 7, but I highly doubt that is what is causing this website to no longer appear on Google. Here is the website in question: https://www.verdictvideos.com/

Is un-searched content worth writing?
Hi, Is every post you write on your site is SERPs worthy? I'll give an example -

We often cover industry related news items. It is written very well with personal opinions, comments and detailed explanations. Our readers find it interesting, "like" and "plus" it. However, these items will never appear in the SERPs simply because they won't be searched. Needless to say that these are not ever green pieces. If by chance it lands a subject that may be searched in the future, usually it won't appear because it means that the item was also covered by major sites like CNN, Forbes, Bloomberg etc. Is it worth out time to keep "investing" in these types of articles? We have two different websites with the same products and information, will that hurt our rankings?
We have two different domains, one for the UK and the other for the US, they have the exact same products, categories and information. (the information is almost the same in 400 products) We know that Google could recognize that as duplicate content, but will that actually hurt our rankings in both sites? Is it better if we create two completely different versions of the content on those pages?

Two websites in different niches. Should I create separate G+ authorship profiles?
I have two different websites. One of them is one of the most authoritative e-commerce websites in its niche. I own forums, installation resource websites and various other sites that provide excellent user information and customer interactions. There is another e-commerce website that I own which is very young and not as authoritative. I am about to start building it out like I did for my other site. My question is about whether I should link my G+ profile and become a "contributor/author" to the new e-commerce site(s) or if I should have someone else in the company be the "face" of this website. Since they're in two completely different niche's, I didn't know if it will give mixed signals to Google if my G+ profile is all about niche A, and then I start throwing in rel=author and being a contributor to other sites that have nothing to do with the original niche. Should I create another G+ profile to contribute to all of the guest posting & 2nd tier site creation for the new niche site or just use the one I have now for the time being?

BEING PROACTIVE ABOUT CONTENT DUPLICATION...
So we all know that duplicate content is bad for SEO. I was just thinking... Whenever I post new content to a blog, website page etc...there should be something I should be able to do to tell Google (in fact all search engines) that I just created and posted this content to the web... that I am the original source .... so if anyone else copies it they get penalised and not me... Would appreciate your answers... 🙂 regards,
