Finding a list of all inbound links
-
Hello.
I just used Open Site Explorer to find inbound links to a site. But it does not seem to list all inbound links.
I will be changing a lot of urls on the site, and I would like to put in 301 redirects only for the pages that have links to them. Is there a way to find all inbound links and the specific pages they link to?
Thank you!

I was doing recovery for a client after a major algo drop killed them (-94% in a week). Anyways, they were adamant about getting a "FULL list of links."
What we did was run OSE, Ahrefs, Majestic, Webmasters Tools, Analytics and a couple other site reports, then accumulate those. You still won't have everything but you probably never will. You can also scrape some Google data if you think it's a worthwhile use of time. We used importXML to scrape all the links that linked to us but it was still incomplete, took forever, and still didn't export more than a couple thousand links.

OSE runs off it's own link index and pulls data from google and bing. You have no guarantee of finding all inbound links to you with any tool of this nature.
You could use google analytics and look at referring sources over the past year and where they went. You would pretty much just have to sift through the list of pages painstakingly to make sure you have 301's for them. This is the only way I can think of to be sure you catch everything.

SEOmoz Not Picking Up Links
I'm finding that SEOmoz often doesn't pick up on many of the links my client's websites are attaining. The links do appear in search engine and often have a high domain authority (often PR links, which I why I follow up to see if they've been picked up). I do tend to see many of the links appear in webmaster tools, so it's a little frustrating that they don't appear, even after months of pages being live. Thoughts?

Why are my external links not showing?
I've had Pro long enough to get at least two weekly crawls and yet no external links are showing (which do absolutely exist). Why would this be?

My domain authority is 1, and I am not seeing any links to my site.
I know that there are links to my site, but nothing shows up. My website is www.mullinsgeoffrey.com. I have tried with and without the www. I am using wordpress for this site, but competitors are as well, and there authority seems fine. is there a hidden setting somewhere that is screwing things up?

How Old is OSE link data?
I ran an anchor text report for my client today, which shows that their site has some incoming comment spam links using totally unrelated phrases (pharma products). However, when looking for the live link, the linking page no longer contains the link to them. Maybe the webmasters removed these, but I can't track down a single one... how old is this data? thanks

Conflict in reported link data
I have a competitor in a campaign - the campaign report shows 181 linked domains BUT - the site explorer report shows only 15 linked domains. Which is correct? And if the site explorer is correct - how do we fix the campaign report? Why does the csv export from OSE only include 25 of the 90+ links?
In OpenSiteExplorer, I clicked "Download CSV" for a report on backlinks from one domain to another. The online visualization in OSE showed 93 external inbound links from site A to site B. When I opened the report, there are only 25 linking pages listed. How do I download the full list?

Open Site Explorer Question- Link Value?
One of my backlinks is from a site that has a page authority of 74. However, the domain is a domain I purchased and 302'd to my current main domain. What I'm wondering (without getting into why a 301 is better than a 302) is this: does OSE have any tool that shows if there is actually value in a link? My assumption is that despite this domain having a PA of 74, the 302 is not passing over any value. To be clear, I understand that a 302 doesn't pass over any SEO value, but my question is whether or not OSE shows the value of a link? Thanks!
