I am creating a new website that is not currently indexed. Is there any software I can use that will show meta tags and broken links with the site not being indexed?

Qnother vote for Screaming Frog - this kind of task is exactly what it's designed for.

If your site's over 500 pages, you'll need the paid version - very much worth it as it can do lots of additional things too. For example, the paid version will allow to check to ensure your Google Analytics is installed on every page before launch as well.

If you scan with Screaming Frog, you can easily find missing meta tags, titles, broken links and more.

It is what we used prior to going live with our website and it was a life/time saver!

And here is a guide done by SEER Interactive that illustrates all of the different things you can accomplish with this tool.

Witch domain to use the highest authority and backlinks or the new one?

Hello I have 2 domain names to the same website as described: domain.net is redirecting to domain.com 301. domain.net age = 16 years domain.com age = 18 years domain.net was in use before the 301 redirects for many years, and it have a better moz authourity(55) from domain.com(45). also have a better count of linking domains(3.2K backlinks) backlinks from domain.com(1.2K backlinks). all data is from Moz pro. the question was what to use for my website for more SERP traffic? Is using .net domain better? or make them both work without 301 redirect with a canonical meta tag? if yes to witch domain best to point this meta? Thanks

How do I mprove site visibility and keyword ranking for new product site

Hi, Sorry if this is a ridiculous post as I am really new to SEO, but I haven't had this problem with other sites! We had a website www.r-dna.co.uk that was never promoted or used very much as it was early days in the product lifecycle. The product (is called R-DNA or Remote Data Network Analysis) is now live so we re-branded and re-launched the site - it has now been live since the beginning of September but we still only have 0.35% visibility and very little ranking in our keywords. We are also using Google Adwords to try and generate business and have registered with numerous online business directories. I have been blogging to update content, tweeting and updating our facebook page, but we still aren't getting the traffic or visibility increases that we have experienced with our other sites. The MOZ site crawl shows 5 medium priority issues (duplicate title page & missing meta description tag), but no major issues. I know its probably fairly early days for a "new" site, but wondered if anyone could advise if there is anything wrong which would explain our lack of visibility.

New Website & DA Score

We are preparing to build a new website for a branch of our company. According to Neil Patel (whom I highly respect) our DA should come in around 30 (categorizing us as a startup, see chart below). So I ask: Why do our current sites DA Score below 30? (20 & 29 respectively) Our sites were redesigned in 2013 and are responsive, pass the Google Mobile Friendly test and I've improved load speed by over 25% by compressing images. I have used Moz as guidance for 10 months on both 7 + yo sites, HP.com is 14 yo, our pages score in the high 90's and I have disavowed bad backlinks for 6 months (now only every other month). I thought we would be in or close to the 50 range by 2017 after a solid year of improvements, but I don't see that happening. Our scores go up a point or two, then back down, we have floundered 2 points either way for 10 months. Most important question: What do I do now to raise our DA? Lastly, my plan is to take all the lessons learned from the past years and apply it to the new site, measure the success and then redesign the other two sites in accordance to the new model. I can't find any inbound links that I know I have on open site, ahref or majestic. Does anyone know why?

Since the linkscape update before Christmas I have built a couple of links to fairly high quality sites. I can't find them on open site though or the other tools I mentioned. I'm a bit concerned there is an issue with my site. Does anyone have any idea why? I'm stumped. My site: www.emporiumofmanliness.co.uk

I know our business listed in Yahoo and medranks.com (for example). But my open site explorer report doesn't show those. however on their sites, I see the listing. Why is this?

Why don't I see it on the open site report?

How can a site have a backlink from Barclays website?

Hi, I have entered a competitiors website www.my-wardrobe.com into Open Site to see who they get links from and to my surprise they have a load from Barclays Business Banking. When I visit the page I can not see the links. But if I search the pages source code for my-wardrobe, there I have it, a link to my-wardrobe.com. How have they done this? Surely Barclays haven't sold them it?
