I have had terrible luck with programmers who seem to live in their own little world and never get things done on time. Can anyone recommend a great company here in the usa that you have used before that has done great work? I am looking at the nerdery. Anyone use them?

I don’t think coming up with a company name will be great but why not check Google places and yelp for a local company within your area.. and read the reviews to have an idea of their work and customer service...

Recommendations for top notch US based WP developers

I have a client that needs to get a WP template completely revamped. They work in residential contracting and this website will be for lead generation. The current WP template has several problems with load speeds, structured data, SSL issues, mobile template problems (most critical issue) and other issues. Their budget is $5K to $12K.

Can forwarding users from one domain to a different domain damage rank and authority of first domain?

Preliminary Explanation: We launched a new website a couple months back but haven't had much luck in Google taking notice. One of the main attractions to our site is an old flash app that was made nearly a decade ago. As the original developer has long ago moved on and we are unable to figure out how to integrate it with our new site, we've been stuck hosting the flash app on a different domain. As such, users who come to our site and want to use the app must immediately navigate away from our site to this other domain. This has caused our primary domain's bounce rate and average site time to plummet while raising it for the other domain. My question: is this damaging our search rank and page authority with Google for this primary domain/site and counter-acting any other positive SEO changes we can make? How much weight does Google give towards bounce rate/average site time spent by users in its overall calculations for search rank and page authority? Our average site time for this primary domain is resting currently at 50-60 seconds, while for the secondary domain that hosts the old flash app it is 4-5 minutes.

Is anyone here managing or doing SEO for a site using GoECart?

We are preparing to update/migrate to a new ecommerce platform. We are in the process of choosing right now. One of the things we know we want is faceted navigation, but I am well aware of the problems this presents for SEO. Are any of you amazing people here using, managing or have experience with GoECart? How can I reduce my warnings for excesive links on our site?

Our campaign overview shows well over 100 warnings that could be hurting our google ranking based on excessive links on pages. Each page listed, however, is simply due to listing the brands we carry, and linking to the products. Is there a way to do this without hurting our ranking? A better way than linking, perhaps? Recommended Website Monitoring Tools

Hi, I was wondering what people would recommend for website monitoring (IE is my website working as it should!). I need something that will:
1/. Allow multiple page monitoring not just homepage
2/. Do header status checking
3/. Do page content checking (ie if the page changes massively, or include the word "error") then we have an issue!
4/. Multiple alert possibilities. We currently use www.websitepulse.com and it is a good service that does all the above, however it just seems so overly complex that its hard to understand what is going on, and its complex functionality and features are really a negative in our case. Thanks
