Which is the best and quick way to remove URL(s) from Google,Bing search engines?
-
"Remove URL", "Set Expiry in meta tag", "no index no follow " or some thing else.
-
dont forget to submit a new sitemap to google within GWT AFTER you finish your removals and other changes as suggested. that should also force google to act a bit faster than it would otherwise do in recognizing the changes.

-
Thanks for your response.
We want to remove around 100+ URLs daily.I think its bit tough to do by remove URL.if we did then, Should It impact on Domain authority?
-
Another way we found helpful is:
-
adding the meta robots=noindex tag to these pages
-
submitting those URLs + sitemap.xml in Google Webmaster Tools
Hope this helps

Two very good answers IMO by Moosa and Philipp. I am not sure why you are removing, but remember there will be cached pages on the web for some indefinite period. If it was only a short time, etc. maybe very few or hard to find, but typically there is something...somewhere.

Actually, in my experience the quickest way is to 301 redirect it to another URL. This is even quicker than disabling the URL and let it return a 404 (which would be my second choice).
Also, keep in mind that only using GWT does not have any impact on Bing! -
The quickest way to remove the URL from the search index is by using Google’s webmaster tool!
Go to GWT and request a link removal and it will be gone for 90 days and then set the no index tag this way your URL will be out of the search index for the life to come!
Hope this helps!

Why rich snippets have disappeared in Google search results ?
Hello, Few weeks ago, we have implemented a snippets strategy in order to increase our ranking for our blog posts. That was successful and our results were showing up in Google. But today, every single snippet has disappeared. We go back to a simple search result, without snippets for us or for our competitors. It seems that Google has delete rich snippet for specific keywords because for the generic keywords (for exemple "inbound marketing definition" in our case), there is still a snippet result. Do you know if Google has changed snippets parameters for keywords with low search volume ? Thank you !

"&" in search for site:domain.com
Hi, a few days ago we talked to a seo agency. They told us something about the "site:" search, that we hadn't heard before.
SERP Trends | | Sandra_h
As they told us, a search for "site:domain.com/&" would give you the number of relevant pages that Google indexed for your domain. We tested this search with some domains. Lots of the results showed up to 25% less indexed pages, than the search for site:domain.com/ Has anyone heard of this before, or is it just a sales gimmick?0 -
Updating the Google Knowledge Graph....any hard answers on how to do this?
We are trying to update the Google Knowledge graph for one our clients. We would like to have company founding date, CEO's name and founder name in the knowledge graph. This information is already included in their wikipedia entry. Where else can we make changes to update this knowledge graph? Is their structured data option for founding dates, CEO/founder names? Should we include this information in their Google+ profile? We are using the publisher tag. We are not sure how to update the freebase account.

Bing, what does it take?
Hi there, I have been optimizing my website for Google over the past year or so, and now have around 50 keywords or so, moderate/highly competitive keywords on page 1, however there are a few keywords which I have been trying to optimize for which I am finding it difficult getting these keywords onto page 1. However I just noticed through analytics that I am getting quite a bit of traffic through Bing on these keywords, so I thought I would take a look to see where I was ranking for these keywords and to my surprise top 5 for which these keywords. So the question is, what does it take to rank high in Bing? as my results are so different when comparing my Google results to Bing. Thanks

Does Google index search results pages for other search engines?
I've noticed a lot of backlinks to sites consist of SERPS from other search engines that Google. A link to a query like: http://searcheninge.com/?q=apple for instance. Does Google index these links and do they give any value? Regards, Henrik
