New website strategy concerning Google Spider
-
Hello,
I have a question concerning a new website. What should I do, SEO wise? Should I place all my content on my pages at once? And thus let the spider crawl everything at once?
Or should I place my content in different phases? So the spider could crawl my pages multiple times in some days/weeks time?
Or do both ways come to the same result?
Thank you,
-
I would recommend that you place everything in at once and get all your pages indexed as soon as you can. However, you continually look to update and make changes to the content of those pages. This will help to signal to google that you website content is being updated and is staying fresh and relevant.
A blog would be a great idea for you and is an effective device for SEO. Installing a blog and adding posts will further help to 1) provide useful content to your users 2) keep your site fresh and updated 3) generate links if you have exceptional and promote your blog well. These aspects if done well, and provided your site is properly onsite optimised, will help your rankings improve.
All the best!

All keywords' ranking are looking like this All tools showing good analysis: MOZ, Barracuda, MajesticSeo Content is good and not duplicated, etc. Do one of you is aware of significant Google update?

If other websites implement our RSS feed sidewide on there website, can that hurt our own website?
Think about the switching anchors from the backlinks and the 100s of sidewide inlinks... I gues Google will understand that it's just a RSS feed right?

How does a competing website with clearly black hat style SEO tactics, have a far higher domain authority than our website that only uses legitimate link building tactics?
Through SEO Moz link analysis tools, we looked at a competing websites external followed links and discovered a large number of links going to Blog pages with domain authorities in the 90's (their blog page authorities were between 40 and 60), however the single blog post written by this website was exactly the same in every instance and had been posted in August 2011. Some of these blog sites had 160 or so links linking back to this competing website whose domain authority is 49 while ours is 28, their Moz Trust is 5.43 while ours is 5.18. An example of some of the blogs that link to the competing website are: http://advocacy.mit.edu/coulter/blog/?p=13 http://pest-control-termite-inspection.posterous.com/\ However many of these links are "no follow" and yet still show up on Open Site Explorer as some of this competing websites top linking pages. Admittedly, they have 584 linking root domains while we have only 35, but if most of them are the kind of websites posted above, we don't understand how Google is rewarding them with a higher domain authority. Our website is www.anteater.com.au Are these tactics now the only way to get ahead?

Redirecting multiple websites to a single website
I've been trying to run several truck accessory affiliate websites for a quite a while now. I've recently decided to combine all of my affiliate websites into a single community website. This way I'll be able to focus all my energy and link building into a single place and build up a single brand. My question is, how many websites do I try to redirect to the new website at a time? Do I need to spread this out? Or is it ok if I move all of my content and websites at a single time? I have around 30 websites that I could move to this new domain. Thanks! Andy
