Ok, I have a strange duplicate content issue.
-
Just ran MOZ against my site and about fell of my chair, over 1k pages being flagged as having duplicate content. That's about every page on the site. I downloaded the CSV file and things got even more confusing, The URL's under "URL" and " Duplicate Page Content" area exactly the same. Am I missing something? I would expect the URL under Duplicate Page Content to show a different URL, to the page with the exact same content. Any help would be appreciated, traffic is tanking and I need to get this figured out.
Thanks,

http://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection can help. You're specifically looking for the "Redirecting Canonical Hostnames" section.
Briefly, google considers the following as different pages, even if they are the same.
Other fun things that can also happen are having all of these pages have the same content, but you can use the following URLs to get to that one piece of content:
example.com
example.com/
example.com/index.html
www.example.com
www.example.com/
www.example.com/index.htmlHope that helps!

I need a hand, can you point me to the right resource?

I took a quick look at your account. The URL and Duplicate URL are ALMOST the same, but if you look closely, you'll see that you've got both non-www and www in there. A simple redirect at the server side to your preferred version will take care of this quite nicely. If you need a hand with that, let us know and we'll help you with the right htaccess file.

Related topics / content suggestion
Hello, In the related topic feature now called content suggestions https://moz.com/blog/related-topics-in-moz-pro. Are the words indicated words to include in my content or are they "topics" to talk about using words that would describe those words turning these words into concepts ? Thank you,

Www and non www / duplicate content / redirects / www resolve issue
I am not getting docked for these specific errors, but I am getting docked for 1 page has a WWW resolve issue and 1 wrong URL in the sitemap... (SEM Rush) but when I use moz, it's not showing any issues. So I have these things set up so far: In .htaccess i have a command that removes the www. 301 redirect from www version to the non www (homepage) canonical on index.html pointing to non www version, I also set up a canonical tag for each page on the site search console with non www, www, https www, https non www all set to non www preference. Also, when I fetch the www version in google search console it says it's being 301 redirected to non www version which is basically what I want.Is there anything that i'm missing? These errors on SEM Rush are giving me anxiety lol.

Duplicate Page Titles detected, no relevant links shown
Moz is reporting duplicate page titles, but the relevant pages aren't being shown. The downloaded report doesn't show them either. Screencast: http://screencast.com/t/gkyRds6u

Why is the exact same URL being seen as duplicate and showing an error in my SEO reports
Well, I am still having duplicate page issues. I have a question about one of the errors SEO is giving me when I download a crawl report. I am going to attach a screen shot of part of the report so you can see for yourself, along with explaining it here. SEO shows the list of URL's that it crawled in the report. In this(see attachment) portion of the report it has 321 results for the exact same URL. It also says all of these exact same URL's have received a 404 error. What I want to know is how does it make 321 results for the same URL? And with this error that I don't see when I look at the page? 0hkRDST

Does anyone else have issues with Moz's keyword search volume tool for Google's search engine?
It will show the search volume for Bing even when Google is selected. Then, if you select Bing, you'll get the same data as it shows for when you selected "google". So basically, this tool does not work for Google's search engine. Or it is most likely not a reliable way to perform keyword research. Anyone else notice this? Does Moz even offer a way to submit a support ticket to get this fixed?

Duplicate content reported for totally different pages
Hi, The Moz report is showing just over 21,500 duplicate page issues on our site. This is more or less every page we have. However when I look at the pages it says are duplicates they are totally different (it could for example report that a news page for 2009 is the same as a product page just added which has no relation when you read the content or view the page). What sort of thing could it be picking up as duplicate content? I assume it must be something in the HTML for the site rather than the actual page content as there is no cross over at all on the pages highlighted. The only issue I can currently identify is that the menu for the mobile version of the site has a huge number of internal links which I will cut down. If the tools purely look at HTML content this could be seen as duplicate but shouldn't it be clever enough to realise what is content and what is site structure? Thanks,

CMS Image caching issue
Hi,
Moz Bar | | YelloMedia
We have been monitoring our clients website, the website has been created using Opencart and I believe has some kind of image cache running, which for some reason gets cleared regularly (Though we didn't create the site). Now our problem is the images are getting crawled and then being cleared from the cache, therefore causing 404 errors. Is there anyway to cure this issue? Regards Tom0
