Where is the old seomoz.org onpage analyzer?
-
I am just getting back to Moz following an update. Before seomoz.org became moz.com. there used to be a tool that did some onpage analysis that I can't seem to find anymore (searched all day). It did things like:
- Duplicate Title
- Duplicate content
- Broken links
- etc...
Would someone please be so kind as to provide me the link to this tool?
Or if it is no longer available, a 3rd party tool?
Kind regards,
Kurt

We actually just put this in the navigation so it should be a bit easier to find now.

I think this is the tool you're looking for, Kurt. http://moz.com/researchtools/crawl-test And yea, it's pretty well invisible. I had to bookmark it the one time I found it after the Moz update as I can never find it manually on the new site.
Hope that's what you're looking for?

I'm guessing you are talking about the crawl diagnostics?
You can find them (in the old version Moz Pro), here: http://pro.moz.com/campaigns/[CAMPAIGN ID HERE]/issues
Or in the new Moz Analytics, navigate to your campaign -> Search -> Crawl Diagnostics.
Hope that helps!

Learn how to use Rank Tracker to analyze rank progress for any given keyword. Get your Daily SEO Fix!
Moz's Rank Tracker tool retrieves search engine rankings for pages and keywords, and stores them for easy comparison later. With it, you can analyze and track rank progress for a keyword or set of keywords that you may not want to include within a Moz Analytics campaign. In today’s Daily SEO Fix, James dives into the tool to show you how to use Rank Tracker to start keeping tabs on the ranking history of a given keyword. MOZ Onpage grade and Google ranking.
I have found for years that there is not necessarily any connection between the onpage given by Moz and the SEO ranking. "F" page can be #1 in Google for long periods of time, and "A" pages can be unranked. I do not see the consistency, so I am unsure how much time to spend optimizing as suggested. I know there are many factors in rankings, but I just wanted to point out that this lack of consistency makes me hesitate to make changes to well-ranking pages -- especially with algorithm changes happening all the time. It seems that everything is considered over-optimization of late, even if it is all natural language. It is hard to NOT use words or synonyms sometimes on pages, for example... Thank you for your great product. I just want to know how my time to spend on this matter or turn my attention to off-page factors where the inconsistency is hard to figure out.

Understanding Onsite Elements and Moz's Onpage Grader
I'm currently helping a friend with his website. One of the pages I am targeting for his business is: http://stalbansdentist.com.au/dentist-cairnlea/ The main keyword this page is targeting will be "dentist cairnlea" (Cairnlea is a suburb near Melbourne, Australia) To perfect onsite optimization, I've used the Moz Onpage Grader. Generally, its straightforward, but I have encountered some issues... Appropriate Use of Rel Canonical The page does have the following tag: <link rel="<a class="attribute-value">canonical</a>" href="http://stalbansdentist.com.au/dentist-cairnlea/" />. I thought this would suffice. What exactly do I need to do to fix this critical problem? Appropriate Characters in the URL I don't understand this one. The URL has completely appropriate characters. Why does Moz Onpage Grader insist that URLs here need to be appropriated? No More Than One H1 Tag There appears to be only one H1 tag on this page. Is Moz just wrong on this one or perhaps a little delayed? There were 2 H1 tags before one was deleted and a recheck done with this problem remaining on Moz's onsite check. Any assistance here on these 3 points and just understanding the Moz Onpage grader would be appreciated!

SEOMOZ On page ranking reports update
I've recently made a load of changes to improve the on page ranking report grades for my site. I was givena C grade for this page: http://www.katalysticevents.com/luxury-wedding-teepee-hire-about/ based on two key phrases Wedding Tipi and Wedding Teepeee. I've made all the changes as advised (excluding H1 tag) by the report but when I rereun the report it's picking up old page data and showing the same problems. Is there some kind of cache thing I'm missing here? The confusing thing is I made the same series of changes for this page: www.katalysticevents.com/luxury-marquee-hire-services/ for Luxury marquee and luxury marquee hire and the results are fine...I've got an A grade. Examples are things like ALT image attirbutes which don't seem to show up on the first page but are fine on the second page.

Rel Can notice issue on my SEOMoz reporting
Need some help understanding this report... I have 17 notices for Rel Can on my campaign. Then, it lists all the links. But what is this report actually telling me? Is it telling me that Rel Can's are listed on these pages? The are all blog posts...our blog was redirected when the site was recently rebuilt. I just need to understand what the report is really telling me to do/not do. Or is it ok to ignore this "notice"?

Site Crawler Tool by the Company Formerly Known As SEOMoz
Moz had a tool I used that would crawl my site and send me a report of all pages, all errors, 301s 404s 505s, and a whole plethora of stuff. I used it to fix pesky errors quite a bit. Does this still exist? Was it replaced or am I just not finding it in the new design?
