Why can I only add 3 competitors?
-
I am very new to all of this and need to learn.
So please accept my apology if I just didn't find it, but I've been searching and can't find a way to add more competitors.
Thanks

I would be careful with it, I would pick good quality links over anything else personally.

I absolutely agree with your statement that those sites are just too big to be considered competition. The ones I wanted to add are true competitors, which I have about 8 in the US. I passed 3 already, so 5 more to go
whats your stand on tiered linking? Our site is fairly new (1 year and 3 months) but we managed to rank first page position 6 and 7 for two different url paths, which I believe was due to my on page SEO.
But as it is with everything, I want it faster and better and easier

One thing I tell my clients it "Don't fish too big". The way that I do things is I shoot for the competitors that are close by, pass them up, then add a new list. I do ecommerce and a lot of my clients think that Amazon and Etsy are competitors. I have to tell them that they are not, they are market giants that have thousands if not tens of thousands backlinks built daily.

I didn't think about that. I will definitely try that and see, but it is sad to see that I can not add more than 3 competitors.
At least for the beginning, where every competitor matters.

That is just the way it is, that is how moz works. If you are only monitoring one domain in your account, I think you should be ok setting up multiple campaigns with the same domain and monitoring more competitors that way. I haven't tried this, but it seems like it would work.

Moz Site Crawl can't index WIX sites
We've been attempting to work on some SEO for a new potential client however they are using a WIX site. We've noticed that Moz SEO tools will not index any WIX sites. e.g. https://www.sharonradisch.com/ (which is one of their case studies). Anyone seen this that can offer any advice? Thanks,

Why can't I Ctrl + click on links on Moz any more?
I'm interested if it's just me that gets frustrated by this? I've just Ctrl + clicked a few links to open them in separate tabs and then realised that none of them had opened. I know it's been like this for a while. It's a usability issue as it goes against expected norms, and now I have to right-click and then click "Open in new tab" on each link, which is more time-consuming and frustrating. More and more websites seem to be losing their Ctrl + click on links ability (JavaScript often breaks it). I don't know if there's a Mac equivalent... Anyway, I hope that doesn't seem like I'm too angry. It just frustrates me a little and I hope it gets fixed. 🙂 Edit - I've just realised these are getting blocked by Chrome's pop-up blocker - but why? It's only an issue on a small number of websites.

Competitor Rank: DA Tracking Available but Keyword Ranking Not Tracked?
I'm tracking a competitor who is very active and also very successful in terms of DA (via MOZ.) However, their domain shows up as "Not in Top 50" for every keyword ranking I track. I've verified via manual tracking of natural results (even with a proxy) that they are competitive with my rankings. It stands to reason that MOZ can track the domain because of the ability to monitor DA successfully. Is there any reason keyword rankings would be "cloaked" or unavailable to the MOZ algorithm when DA metrics are available?

I'm new to Moz, where can I find something that explains the basics of everything?
For instance how do I use the Rank Tracker or Keyword Tool. I want to get the most out of Moz and I need a resource that explains it. Thanks
