Using multiple domains in one Adwords account

Hi,
I am currently setting up an Adwords account and wanted to know if you can run multiple websites through one account.
We have 2 domains each promoting a different one of our brands and i was wondering the best way to run the account.

Two domains can run in the same account. They cannot run in the same adgroup.
If you never plan on spending more than 15k/mo per domain then I think it's OK to keep them all in the same account. Just be sure to label them differently for each campaign.
If your brands will be bidding on the same keywords, then do not put them in the same account. Because they are two separate brands you can double serve ads, but it's not advisable. There are MANY things that can go wrong if you try to bid on the same terms with two different accounts. I would suggest hiring someone who knows what they're doing to help you set this up & possibly run it for you so you don't end up bidding against yourself and running up your own CPCs.

You can advertise products/services from two separate domains in one account. However, do not overlap keywords (or product/services) and use a separate campaign (ie-no double serving).

It might be possible but, I don't think you are supposed to do that. Instead create a My Client Center account here- http://www.google.com/adwords/myclientcenter/ It will let you flip back and forth between accounts really easy.

As far as I know, which is confirmed by this blog from Lunametrics is that you can't run ads to two different domains from the same account. You'll have to create a separate for each domain. If they are a subdomains of a main domain then that is fine but if the websites are completely separate then you'll need multiple accounts.

How to track in Google Analytics 2 different subdomains (one for website, the other for PPC landing pages)
Hello Mozers! I have a website with organic visits/goals on www.site.com and a few AdWords Campaign landing pages on lp.site.com whose goals are tracked with both adwords conversion monitoring AND analytics (not imported from analytics into Adword). The landing pages of the campaign have nothing to do with the web site (different cms, they don't link each other, totally isolated) and viceversa. Given that, what would it be the best practice to configure Google Analytics to track the website (www.site.com) AND a PPC campagin (lp.site.com)? Impressions data: Google Webmaster Tools VS Google AdWords
Dear community, I was doing some research within Google Webmaster Tools (WMT) keyword data when I noticed that the impressions within this tool are quite different compared to the keyword impression data provided by Google AdWords (ADW). Some specs about the situation: Date: December 2014 (31 days). Keyword: brand + main keyword* (e.g. amazon shoes, if Amazon would have been the client) Visitors come from: the Netherlands (>97%). Search volume: 3,8 K for this branded keyword last year (December 2013), of which >99% came from the Netherlands (source: Google Keyword Planner). Search query data: "impressions" for Google WMT (organic keyword impressions) and “impressions” for Google ADW (paid keyword impressions). Of course the ADW keyword is [exact]. So, what's wrong? The data doesn’t match, while I expected approximately the same amount of impressions assuming the keywords are: both [exact] keywords; (check! ✓) within the same period of time; (check! ✓) the Ad is being displayed "all the time" (check! ✓) the domain/page is being indexed "all the time" (check! ✓) How much of a difference is there? Organic impressions: 7,4 K (source: Google WMT) Paid impressions: 2,1 K (source: Google ADW) Note that the search volume according to Google Keyword Planner of last year is somewhere in between: 3,8K. The search volume from this tool of last December is not available just yet (but I don’t expect much difference here since Google Trends shows a steady search volume). If the difference would have been 10-20%, I wouldn't be surprised at all, but this is huge. **What could explain the differences? ** If a lot of people were using AdBlockers (they do, but not nearly as massively (around 10%)). If we would have made mistakes in AdWords: budget, bidding, targeting etc. - This is not the case, got this confirmed by the manager who double-checked the data and settings. Also: since it’s a branded keyword it’s really cheap for us and easy to get high quality scores. If we would have made mistakes regarding indexing/crawling that would have caused an extreme loss in domain visibility in the SERP's: possibly caused by robots.txt, a noindex-tag, server problems etc. This was not the case and Google WebmasterTools says the average position was 1,0 during the complete month. "Something else" went wrong during that specific period of time with this specific domain. I don’t think so because I checked multiple months and multiple other domains of other clients. These gave me the same relative results (okay, some were a bit closer: 30 K paid impressions vs 62 K organic impressions for instance, still a big difference). What other possibilities are left? The impressions from Google WMT and Google ADW are not the same, even though they are called the same and therefore suggest they should be (about) the same. AdWords just randomly fails to display and/or measure some branded ads (even though there is plenty of budget, bidding is fine and QS is 10/10). Definitions of "impressions" for both tools according Google: AdWords definition of "impressions" WebmasterTools definition of "impressions" Hope someone has some more suggestions or useful links! Locate Poorly Trending Keywords in AdWords
At the campaign level I see my CTR has been suffering for the last week or two relative to the past few months. It could be a few bad actors casing the downward trend. How can I quickly and easily locate specific keywords that are trending in the wrong direction? Why filters will not work... They don't take change into account. I want to identify Keywords that were once doing well are now doing poorly. Filters will yield all keywords that are doing poorly which is not what I'm looking for. Obviously I could be missing something with filters but this is my understanding. A few other points to note... I have search partners turned on. I do not want to take this traffic into account in my analysis. I'd also like to determine if it might be an ad that's not performing as well as it once was. I assume the same method used to find poorly trending keywords can be applied to ads as well but if not, is there a solution for this?

Adwords campaign and adgroup ideas
When it comes to SEO, I can do that. When it comes to adwords I tend to scratch my head. No idea why, I just do. Anyways I want to get some ideas of how I can setup a killer campaign and structure it and target relevant keywords. Here is my description of my business We are a private christian school providing preschool, elementary and highschool. We are located in Henderson, NV but service Las Vegas, NV as well. We have some of the highest scores and accolades in Nevada so we pride ourselves with those and feel we should target that. So far when it comes to structure I have come up with this setup Campaigns Henderson adgroups Preschool Top Keywords preschool Example Keywords preschools in henderson, nv preschools in henderson nevada preschool henderson nv preschool henderson nevada top rated Example Keywords top rated preschools in henderson nv top rates preschools in henderson nevada best Example Keywords best preschool in henderson nv best preschool in henderson nevada Elementary Top Keywords private school Example Keywords Elementary private schools in henderson nv Elementary private schools in henderson nevada Elementary private school in henderson nv Elementary private school in henderson nevada top rated Example Keywords top rated elementary private school in henderson nv top rated elementary private school in henderson nevada best Example Keywords best elementary private school in henderson nv High School Top Keywords private school top rated best Las Vegas adgroups Preschool Elementary High School I didn't finish the rest because you should get the point. I don't know if these are exact keywords, I just know that private school, top rated and best tend to be what people type. Then each adgroup will get a relevant ad pertaining to those keywords. Am I going overbaord? or is this a good start?

Adwords and Analytics figures not matching up
We are currently running a A/B test on a landing page using only adwords to split the traffic. Looking at the figures in adwords has given us a higher number of conversions than the analytics is giving us in transactions. The conversion rate is also different. The only visitors this page is getting is from Adwords. Can someone please help us understand why this is? Cheers Al

Adwords Keyword Research - Simplifying Process
So far here's my algorithm: I will make an excel spreadsheet with all of our currently optimized keywords (about 300 I believe) I will grab all the keywords possible out of the adwords keyword tool I will merge the adwords keyword tool keywords with the 300 on the excel spreadsheet and erase the duplicates. I'll drop what's left over in exact match into a google adwords campaign I'll then use the + modifier with brand names and with two word keywords such as +brand +keywords +here Will this algorithm find all of the keywords, or am I missing something?

Say for instance you are in the business of "lawn mower repair," and you are ranking for that keyword. If you were doing an AdWord campaign on that keyword, would that also affect your organic rankings in the SERPs for that keyword?
