Could client be skewing search results?
-
I'm working with a client that is searching Google numerous times per day for various phrases that his site may rank for. A lot of these he uses the same search phrase multiple times/day to see if there is any change. Unfortunately, these are not the phrases I have optimized his site for. Moz is now displaying some of these search phrases along with associated pages and grading them as F - because they are not optimized for these phrases.
- Is it possible that my client caused this by doing the searches?
- If I already have particular pages grading an A for the targeted term chosen, should I attempt to add elements to move the F to a better position for the new keyword phrase being suggested? (I always thought you should target one page/phrase.
Thanks!!

The on-page grader lists the pages that rank in the top fifty for a keyword in one of your campaigns. In other words if you are seeing a phrase, even if the associated page is graded an F, it is because that phrase brought up that page in the top 50 search results.
In general the rule is one phrase per page, but it is not uncommon for a page to rank for a group of related long-tail queries. However if a page is an F for a query, you may have to make a lot of changes for it to grade well for that query, which would likely have a bad effect on the query that is is meant to rank for.
It would probably be better for you to figure out what elements of the page caused it to come up for the phrase it got an F for, and make a new page keeping those related elements and adding content relevant to this phrase. [The letter grades are not supposed to be the final word on the probable success of a page, btw.]
As far as whether your client is causing significant changes in Google's behavior, I would think not or else a lot of SEOs would be spending a lot of time typing in strategic search terms. [Though perhaps if they are very low search volume terms and bringing up results on the fifth page, it might not be impossible that that is what Moz is picking up. But it still wouldn't be important.]

Why does moz give different page authority to the same page if a visit comes from adwords vs organic search?
When clicking on an adwords ad the page the landing page has a page authority of 26. When clicking on organic search to the same exact landing page the page authority is 37. Why is this. Does moz or, more importantly Google see these as the same or separate pages? Thanks Tom

How do you run ranks now for clients that aren't in your local area now that Google customizes search results based on location?
How do you run ranks now for clients that aren't in your local area now that Google customizes search results based on location? What tool/service have you found that gives accurate rank results? To me it seems like there is no guaranteed global #1position any more, or is this the situation for only certain types of searches? Likewise how can anyone tool give a global accurate rank score?

Www.mydomain.tld same as mydomain.tld - unexpected results
Hi I set up a campaign to monitor a website and chose to track the root domain, however the report showed every single page on my website was duplicated with itself when seen as www.mydomain.tld as opposed to just mydomain.tld. I deleted the campaign and set it up to monitor only the www.mydomain.tld as I don't use any other subdomains, however in Bing results the website is listed without the www and so is not recognised in the ranking checker. How can I set it up so that seomoz recognises the pages as the same either with or without the www?

How to find highest PR pages by search term?
is there a search operator in google to sort by highest PR, or an alternate search engine (besides Google directory) to find high PR sites by keyword? I am sending free product out to webmasters to use as a giveaway for their audience, and would like to find the highest PR sites/pages to partner with. I want the highest SEO value out of the products I send out. I'm trying to find outdoor sports related sites, etc, which have done contests/giveaways in the past and linked well to the supplier of the prize. I've been just googling phrases like "backpack giveaway", etc. and this has worked ok, but I'd like to find a tool to search for the highest PR sites around each of the phrases.

Why can I only add three search engines to a campaign?
I need to track global keywords rankings for a web based product. Only being able to add three search engines to a campaign is limiting. I need to track at least 5 regional versions of Google, and curently have to duplicate my campaign to do this. would prefer to keep it under one campaign.
