Add Cyber Monday Terms To Keyword List Effectively
-
For example, if I sell widgets and I want my ads to appear for "cyber Monday widget deals"
If I add "Cyber Monday" I'll come up for every search related to cyber Monday. The alternative seems to be putting every possible word combination in such as...
blue widget cyber Monday deals
red widget cyber Monday sale
cyber Monday yellow widget
big widgets cyber Monday for sale
etc.As you can see there are almost an infinite number of possibilities there making it unfeasible without doing something programmatically such as...
X = Widget Descriptor (empty is a possible value)
ie: big, red, green, blue, fast, slowY = Widget Synonym (plural considered possible value)
ie: widget, widgets, wiggy-whatZ = Deal Synonym (empty is a possible value)
ie: deal, sale, promotion, promoQuery Structures...
X Y Cyber Monday Z
Cyber Monday Z X Y
etc.Is there some kind of query match I'm missing as an alternative to this programmatic brute force method? How have you guys executed this?

There is no need to do all those variations in keyword order if you are using broad, or modified broad match keywords. The ordering of the keywords do not matter for broad or modified broad, so you only need one query structure.
e.g X Y Cyber Monday Z and Cyber Monday Z X Y will BOTH get triggered by the BMM (broad match modified) kw: +X +Y +Z +Cyber +Monday.
It may not even be necessary to include Z in the query pattern but that all depends on impression volume.

Negative Keyword Help
I am working on compiling a list of both broad and phrase-matched negative keywords for my AdWords campaigns, but I feel like I am encountering a problem. We offer payment gateway services and business owners often search terms including online payment gateway, Internet payment gateway, credit card payment gateway, etc to see our ads. However, we have been getting bad leads from consumers searching for terms such as online payment, online payments, online bill pay, and various other phrases regarding consumers paying their bills online. We work specifically with business owners who want to accept payments and NOT consumers who want to make payments. Here is my dilemma: If I have "online payment gateway" or [online payment gateway] as keywords as well as "online payment" or "online payments" as negative keywords, then I will be blocking business owners from seeing my ads when they search the term online payment gateway. Correct? Is there any way to get around this? Am I wrong?

Is there any reason to add the word "buy" to our Adwords keywords?
Was having a discussion with someone so I am going to write this up as neutral as possible and let you guys decide. We have a large keyword list and they are all setup as phrase. Should we go back and add the word buy in front of all those keywords? Even though they are setup as phrase already. Example: "Widget" (as a phrase) Should we go back and add "Buy Widget" as a keyword?

Right keywords for Design/Development Company.
Hello There. I was doing research on getting keywords that are likely to generate leads and later to customers for a new website design and website development company in India. The search volume for india wasnt pleasing for me i couldnt find the keywords that felt they would be a great choice for the client. Additionally when i tried to target the location specific keywords like website design company in ahmedabad - It felt more like people are searching for job and stuff through google instead of hiring them. So i need a little help here guys. Multiple keyword match types - same ad group, or separate ad groups?
Hi guys, Looking at an account that has historically used broad matching, and i'd now like to take some of the better performing keywords and duplicate as phrase and/or exact match to increase the quality of traffic to the landing pages. I know I can add red shoes, "red shoes" and [red shoes] to the same ad group, however I've also read that people are creating separate groups for each match type. Other than easy of management (same group), or more granular targeting of ads (separate groups), should I go with either approach, or a blend of the two? My key objective in this restructure is to drop the currently high bounce rate on the landing pages by improving the relevance of the incoming traffic. Cheers, Jez

What is the effect of a proxy server replicating a sight on SEO
I have heard of PPC company's that set up a proxy server to replicate your site so that they can use their own tracking methods for their reports. What affect if any does this have on SEO for a site?
