Cant find link google are saying is inserted
-
Guys,
one of my sites are coming up as "hacked in Google". I have looked for the link they are suggesting but cannot find it in the database. I have tried to resubmit but they are saying It is against the terms of service.

Hi John,
Beside the great points mentioned before these suggestions might help you.
- I ones saw a few inserted casino / gambling URL’s pop up in a Google Analytics reports. Might be worth your time to check if there are any new URL’s created.
- Run some security scans on your site to find any vulnerabilities that might have caused the hack.
- Since you didn’t find it in your database, you could check for any hard coded links with the search through files option in Notepad. If the link is hard coded you should be able to find it.
- If you are using a CMS like Wordpress, check if all your plugins and themes are up to date. Poor maintenance could have caused the security breach.
- If your website is hacked, could it be that the hacker changed links to prevent an easy discovery? Might extent your search to more generic spam terms.
As Dirk said, don’t wait too long solving this issue. If you are depending on your SEO and you can’t fix this issue within days I would rather hire an expert then wait a few weeks.
Goodluck!

You cannot resubmit as long as the problem is not solved. Like Richard said - do a site:yoursite.com and check for suspicious url's. If this doesn't work - try searching your site for typical spam terms (cialis, viagra, vuitton, chanel,...etc) Figure out how they breached security & make sure that you prevent new breaches; clean the site and then resubmit. Make sure you do this fast - the longer your site is hacked, the bigger the impact on your traffic will be. More info here: http://www.google.com/webmasters/hacked/
rgds,
Dirk

It would help if you post a link to the page Google sees. You can do a search on Google with the site: operator to find out of the link is indexed. Basically, you need to figure out if the link exists and then figure out what is causing it.

Sitelink (meta) descriptions in Google SERP
Hi, I am probably not the only one having this question regarding the quality of sitelinks in organic results. When your search returns sitelinks, I know the only thing you can do to avoid certain sitelinks to appear is to demote it for that search result. But what can you do about the description. For the main result you are pretty much able to create an appealing description, but when the sitelinks appear, all sitelinks display these crappy 'composed' descriptions. I've read Google did some tests a couple of years ago with multiple descriptions and multiple titles, but this doesn't cover the issue I just described. Is there a way to create 'sitelink descriptions'? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I'm curious to know if KG is showing up in the google search engines for other countries for the keywords that my site goes after. Is there anyway to actually perform a test to see? Thanks!
