Hello,
Short question:
I got a link on a good ranking page but the code says:

You can not click on the link so will it count as a link?
Thank you in advance!

If that's exactly the code - it is not a link, it's a mention of your site. A link is something like:
Theories exists, that it could count - but to answer the question, I think it do not count and you don't get linkjuice
If you can see, that you get a lot of more direct traffic it may work for you, it wont hurt.

Using "Div's" to place content at top of HTML
Is it still a good practice to use "div's" to place content at the top of the HTML code, if your content is at the bottom of the web page?

Should the whole div box be linked or individual elements within it?
Hey I've got a question about linking within a div box. Say you have a title, an image and a short paragraph within a div box all referring to an internal page on your site. Should you link the whole div box to the internal page, or link the items within it individually e.g. the title, image and text individually? Thanks in advance

Are Collapsible DIV's SEO-Friendly?
When I have a long article about a single topic with sub-topics I can make it user friendlier when I limit the text and hide text just showing the next headlines, by using expandable-collapsible div's. My doubt is if Google is really able to read onclick textlinks (with javaScript) or if it could be "seen" as hidden text? I think I read in the SEOmoz Users Guide, that all javaScript "manipulated" contend will not be crawled. So from SEOmoz's Point of View I should better make use of old school named anchors and a side-navigation to jump to the sub-topics? (I had a similar question in my post before, but I did not use the perfect terms to describe what I really wanted. Also my text is not too long (<1000 Words) that I should use pagination with rel="next" and rel="prev" attributes.) THANKS for every answer 🙂

Does Google take a lot of notice of html and what a p class maybe called?
Hi there My client has p class="seoText” in his html Do you think this is something to get cleaned up? How much note does Google make of HTML? Will Google read this and 'think hold on a minute' do you think ... ? Its small I know but trying to capture any advantage we can at the moment - there are other bigger things we are working on! Thanks

Is using a Href in Div OK?
Hi, I was just wondering what your thoughts are on using a Href in a Div, which contains anchor text. We currently use the Href on the div, as opposed to just the anchor text as I want the whole div to be clickable as opposed to just the anchor text. So currently I have: Keword 1

Keyword 2 Is this perfectly fine to do it like this as opposed to using <a tags="" ???<br="">I suppose there are various alternatives - if you must use the</a><a tag="" like:<="" p=""></a> <a tag="" like:<="" p=""></a> Keword 1
Keyword 2 However I would assume a search engine is smart enought to know its the same thing??? Thanks0 -
Will using hidden divs cause me problems?
The developers want to use hidden divs to display links to each page of our photo gallery from the first page to Google but only previous and next buttons to users. Will this be a problem? Is it the best solution?
