Duplicates - How to know if trailing slashes are creating duplicate pages?

Hi,

How do you determine whether trailing slashes are creating duplicate pages? Search Console is showing both /about and about/ for example but how do I know whether this is a problem?

If you can browse to both without either of them redirecting then you've got duplicate pages. You can tell if they're redirecting because the address will change.

This isn't a huge deal but at the same time, it's not a difficult one to fix so you might as well.

Creating country specific pages to show pricing in local currencies

For our product page, we want to be able to show the pricing in the local currency of the visitor. I discussed this with our web developer and he said that we can create country-specific pages, so one for UK, Australia, etc. I am afraid that this solution might hurt our SEO as Google might see this as duplicated content. Duplicate page titles for blog snippets pages

I can't figure the answer to this issue, on my blog I have a number of pages which each show snippets and an image for each blog entry, these are called /recent-weddings/page/1 /2 /3 and so on. I'm getting duplicate page titles for these but can't find anywhere on Wordpress to set a unique title for them. So http://www.weddingphotojournalist.co.uk/recent-weddings/…/2/ has the same title as http://www.weddingphotojournalist.co.uk/recent-weddings/…/3/

Page for page 301 redirects from old server to new server

Hi guys:
I have a client who is moving their entire ecommerce site from one hosting platform (Yahoo Store) to another (BigCommerce) and from one domain to another. The old domain is registered with the Yahoo as of yesterday and we have redirected the old domain (at the domain level) to the new domain. However, we are having trouble getting the pages to redirect page for page. Currently they are all redirecting to the new domain home page. We did just move the old domain from GoDaddy to Yahoo yesterday thinking this would solve it however as of this morning the old pages are still redirecting to the home page of the new domain. To complete the 301 redirect picture, we uploaded the redirects (all relative links for both from and to) to BigCommerce. And while the domain was hosted at GoDaddy with a redirect to the new domain, they were working. We moved the domain to Yahoo because of email issues thinking it should still work. Is it possibly just a waiting game now as the change populates across the DNS? old url to test:

Duplicate content with "no results found" search result pages

We have a motorcycle classifieds section that lets users search for motorcycles for sale using various drop down menus to pick year-make-type-model-trim, etc.. These search results create urls such as:
www.example.com/classifieds/search.php?vehicle_manufacturer=Triumph&vehicle_category=On-Off Road&vehicle_model=Tiger&vehicle_trim=800 XC ABS We understand that all of these URL varieties are considered unique URLs by Google. The issue is that we are getting duplicate content errors on the pages that have no results as they have no content to distinguish themselves from each other. A URL like:
www.example.com/classifieds/search.php?vehicle_manufacturer=Triumph&vehicle_category=Sportbike
and
www.example.com/classifieds/search.php?vehicle_manufacturer=Honda&vehicle_category=Streetbike Will have a results page that says "0 results found". I'm wondering how we can distinguish these "unique" pages better? Some thoughts:
-make sure <title>reflects what was search -add a heading that may say "0 results found for Triumph On-Off Road Tiger 800 XC ABS" Can anyone please help out and lend some ideas in solving this? Thank you.</title>

Duplicating Keywords in Page Title

Hello All, I am currently trying to establish the TITLE tag of my homepage. I am trying to target 2 terms plus my company name. For example, purposes, the two keywords are: Widget Program Widget Software My company Name is: Widget Direct I originally had the title as: Widget Program | Software | Widget Direct My thought was that I didn't want to repeat the word "Widget" too many times. However, the SEOmoz on-page report card keeps telling me I should have the exact keyword in my title tag. In that case it would make the title: Widget Program | Widget Software | Widget Direct Do you think that is better so that I have each keyword in the title or will that result in a penalty because it looks like I'm stuffing the title with the keyword 'widget'? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Duplicate Page Title with Pretashop

We have our main website and blog in Wordpress under www.enasport.com and our shop with Prestashop under www.enasport.com/productos so all our products have for example www.enasport.com/productos/56-creatina-monohidrato.html I wonder if this is the problem with Duplicate Page Title as seems we have more than 200 of this issue.
