Why Avoid Answering? - Release Date: Rough Estimate

We are wondering when we can see search volume local and global with the ability to define a specific local region. Our team seriously dislikes bouncing back and forth from google adwords and SEOMoz. Other competitors of seo software have this feature, we are wondering when we can (roughly) expect this to be added.
In all of other users posts, when the question of when is asked, a response is never given. So we ask you UID: ADAM - SEOMoz Rep - When is the release planed to launch?

This is correct. Raven Tools had to jump through the same hoops to keep their Google API. That's why they had to dump their Rank Tracking.

To my knowledge, I don't believe we've avoided this answer. We've been pretty upfront letting everyone know that Google revoked our access to their API and have not told us why. We don't believe we'll be getting that data back, so we are actively seeking other sources of data. Right now, we're checking out correlations with Bing to see if their data will work for us.
We appreciate your patience and as soon as we have a good solution, we'll definitely be letting everyone know.

I am assuming this is because of the recent Adwords API issues. I don't see Google Adwords data being pulled in as long as SEOmoz offers rank tracking service. Expect SEOmoz to tie up with third party like WordStream to provide keyword volume data.
This is of course my guess. You should wait for official SEOmoz confirmation regarding this.

New to Moz, need some probably basic answers about Keywords, Linking, Competitors and General SEO
Hi, So I have quite a lot of data colelcted about my site now, regarding keyword research, page crawling and competitor research ect. But I find myself second guessing myself about what I have done and what to do next. I have done basic research for as many relevant keywords I could think of to my site, including branded and non branded terms. If the main competitive keywords for my niche are very competitive, shall I start doing more research for long tail keywords and only try to rank for them? Does is matter how many keywords I am doing research for? Does is matter how many keywords I try to optimise for each webpage? Are the amount of branded keywords I am researching skewing my results? As they are all ranked #1, but nearly all of the non branded keywords are much further down the list... Once I have decided what keywords are worth trying to ranking for for each page, are the techniques to actually rank more highly for them - Title, H1 Tag, Description, Meta Data, Fresh Content and using the keywords on the page? Or are there more techniques I haven't heard of? Under Keyword Rankings - I noticded that some of my keywords are directing to specific pages, like "Cavity Waxes" is directing to the URL ending in .com/cavity-waxes - How do you assign the keywords im researching to specific URLs? - Or does Moz do it automatically? As most of my keywords seem to be unassigned to any URL, is that because they are not ranking highly enough? How do I best use the data collected through Moz? Good practices? Techniques? Tips and Tricks? What is the best practice for finding potential link partners and asking them for mutual linking? Techniques for finding partners that are likely to link with us, but still provides link juice. I must apologise for this long-winded set of questions, but these are troubling me! How can I create a keyword ranking report with a custom date range?
I need to see change since campaign inception, and would like the flexibility of other date ranges. (in a list form, not per keyword) Does Moz have a way to do this yet? This is the one feature I really need that Moz hasn't historically had. Can the API be modified for this? Would appreciate some feedback guys!

How to change the compare date range on the keyword rankings report?
I'm new to SEO Moz, but not to SEO. I like SEOMoz's keyword rankings, but I also like to show clients improvement (hopefully) from the previous months' ranks. The default appears to be 1-week. How can you show improvement/decline from the previous month?

Why Even Publish Dates for the Next OSE Data Set?
I just noticed on the Linkscape calendar the update that was supposed to happen yesterday is pushed back to the 6th. It would be better not knowing. Is this a possibility? Or use the calendar internally, I don't care. Credibility in any announcement or claim looses muster once you do not do what you say you are going to do over and over again. Just a thought..

Press Release - using moz bar/OSE is reading domain not page? How? Why?
A question posed by Christopher Glaeser from early today:low PA high DA, had a follow up response from him providing 2 urls from PR WEB for separate press releases: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/11/prweb8923419.htm (HP White) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 47 DA - 36 http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/12/prweb9051351.htm (Golfer's Advice) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 1 DA - 96 I kept scratching my head as to how a press release of 6 weeks ago had garnered such attention from a company that would not seem to have a huge traffic due to more obscure product offering and scientific subject (Analyses of Armor Industry versus Golf Advice).

Then I realized that for HP White, Link Data was not about the PR. The url from mozbar was HPWhite.com not the above, I did not notice until I used OSE where same thing was happening. When I cut and pasted the above press release url for HP White and placed it in OSE this changed: PA - 49 DA - 96 (2 links 2 linking root domains) For Golfers advice (0 links from 0 linking domains) Note to all: the links to the PR WEB release for the HP included a low end directory type link and a link from PR WEB (. For Golfer's Advice there was not a link back to the release from PR WEB: Note that Golfer's Advice is a newer release (6 weeks). So, any link from HPWhite release would equal more juice to HP White and PR Web and Vocus. Any link to Golfer's Advice from release offers......???? to Golfer's Advice and who cares to Vocus and PR Web. So, I guess this begs a couple of questions: Why the mozbar link analysis difference for one versus the other? Does PR Web treat some differently than others? Who benefits most from me paying a PR Web to do press releases for a client, PR Web and Vocus or my client and I???? I have tried to order the images to make sense: L to R top, then bottom is last. [

Regarding Avoiding Keyword Self-Cannibalization
I ran some of my pages through the 'on-page report card' and one thing that kept popping up was to Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization. I thought the best SEO practice was to have anchor text at the end of your article that matched your target keywords. Is this not accurate?
