Editing Keywords in Moz Keyword Tracking Under Campaigns
-
Hi all,
Some questions for Moz Pro Campaigns Setup
Q1
As part of Moz Pro, we've created a campaign to track a set number of keywords and it seems that 2-3 of the keywords have been entered as a misspelling so I wanted to know how I can edit them to be corrected?Under "Add & Manage Keyword" I do see the keywords however do I need to click on "Show More" in order to scroll over to the keywords I need to edit / correct?
Q2Eager to know if duplicated keywords are omitted when they are entered into the campaign. So if someone had entered in "abc123" twice in the list of 600 keywords will the 2nd instance of abc123 be removed when the keyword list is submitted into Moz?
Cheers,

ok, but you relaize when u add KW via a list it does not give you options

Hey Sanjay!
All keywords should be manageable within Add & Manage regardless of how they were submitted. All you should have to do is select the keyword and then click on the delete button on the top right-hand side of the page. If you're having trouble here, I'd recommend reaching out to our Help team to take a look either via the chat button on the bottom right-hand side of the page or directly via email.
Hope this helps!

Hi Sam,
Thank you for your message. Please feel free to correct me if my response is completed wrong. : )
What I have found is when I extracted a CSV file I did see the wrong spelling keyword in there.
However from the main UI "Add & Manage Keywords" I was not able to see or even have any chance to delete the wrong spelling keyword which is strange right? : )
Your second paragraph i do understand. : ) (For duplicated keywords, both will be added/tracked because you can set them up to track different levels (national/local) as well as label them differently. If it's not something you want in your campaign, I'd recommend deleting the keyword.)
Thank you again and much appreciate the message.

Hi there!
Once added to a campaign, keywords can not be edited. The reason behind this is that the data collected for it previously would become irrelevant once it was changed. What you'd need to do in this case is add a new keyword with the correct spelling and tracking (local, national) and labeling (if you want to label them). The old keywords could be deleted to free up those slots.
For duplicated keywords, both will be added/tracked because you can set them up to track different levels (national/local) as well as label them differently. If it's not something you want in your campaign, I'd recommend deleting the keyword.
Hope this helps and let us know if there's anything else you need. Have a great day!
Sam

Does Organic CTR from Keyword Explorer show percentage of 1st position clicks? If not, how to calculate?
I have two questions about the Organic CTR number from the Moz Keyword Explorer tool. I have read through the description here, but it is not very clear on what I need to know: https://moz.com/community/q/what-is-a-good-keyword-opportunity-score Does it calculate the percent of searchers that are likely to click on ANY of links from page one of the traditional organic search results? Or does it calculate the percent of searchers that are likely to click on the NUMBER 1 position of the traditional organic search results? I suspect the answer will be that it calculates the percentage of clicks for any of the traditional organic search results from page one. Which leads me to question two... I'm trying to calculate the estimated search traffic from each keyword if there was a number 1 ranking. And if the Organic CTR shows the percentage of clicks going to any of the traditional organic search results I need to add a modifier to my formula which will calculate how many clicks the number 1 ranking receives. So I think the formula would will look something like this: Monthly website traffic from keyword = monthly search traffic * Organic CTR * Number 1 Position CTR. In this case, what would I use for the "Number 1 Position CTR" modifier?

Moz crawler only crawls one page?!
Hello there, I'm using Moz for a while and I'm very pleased with the tool and community. But for the first time I encountered a problem. We are trying to run a crawler for a client's website but only one page (only the homepage) was crawled. We tried to do a test on a more detailed level (maybe there is something wrong with the homepage). My campaign test's crawl came back for the Producten folder (level deeper than homepage), and it was also only a 1 page crawl with a 200 status. I did look at the robots.txt file now, and it is very restrictive, but there is nothing that I can clearly see that would explain why the crawl isn't working. Hopefully someone can point us at the right direction. Thanks in advance, Jeremy

Moz Crawler not Identifying all Duplicate Pages
On two recent site crawls (9/27/14 and 11/4/14) for duplicate content the Moz tool did not ID the following 2 pages, which are 100% duplicate to each other: http://www.hooksandlattice.com/planter-hampton-241212.html ; Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/DdwWroUU http://www.hooksandlattice.com/planter-hampton-721212.html ; Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/8Lb1cJZmGrhX As I'm working feverishly to re-write and update the site (goal is ZERO duplicates) I'm finding it challenging to use the Moz tool to get the project done. Does anyone have any feedback or help they can provide for how I can identify all duplicate pages associated with my domain? Thank you! Lindsey Pfeiffer

Does anyone else have issues with Moz's keyword search volume tool for Google's search engine?
It will show the search volume for Bing even when Google is selected. Then, if you select Bing, you'll get the same data as it shows for when you selected "google". So basically, this tool does not work for Google's search engine. Or it is most likely not a reliable way to perform keyword research. Anyone else notice this? Does Moz even offer a way to submit a support ticket to get this fixed?

Moz showing warnings for each dynamic link despite canonicalization?
As you can see in the attached image, Moz is showing a warning for each dynamic URL despite a rel=canonical tag. Is this by design? If so, it is frustrating seeing as it is really just the one page with many links . . . 9h5oDmr.png
