Google only indexed 19/94 images

I'm using Yoast SEO and have images (attachments) excluded from sitemaps, which is the recommended method (but could this be wrong?).
Most of my images are in my posts; here's the sitemap for posts: https://edwardsturm.com/post-sitemap.xml
I also appear on p1 for some good keywords, and my site is getting organic traffic, so I'm not sure why the images aren't being indexed. Here's an example of a well performing article: https://edwardsturm.com/best-games-youtube-2016/
Thanks!

For anybody wondering, the problem is stemming from me using the Photon CDN by the Jetpack plugin. Photon is great, it really enhances UX, and their support is pretty top of the line, but since I put a lot of work into my post images, I'd like them to be indexed.
I'm going to try switching to AWS, because I see that that's what Moz is using.

Thanks Dan. I've figured out that I'm having problems because I'm using a CDN. I'm finding a workaround to this right now.

Edward
In the big picture, Martijin is right - unless you need traffic from the images, it's OK they are not indexed.
But secondly, looks like they are hosted on wp.com like this one - https://i2.wp.com/edwardsturm.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Reddit-Gaming-Front-Page.png?resize=860%2C883&ssl=1
They show up in my crawl OK, but have you tried a "fetch and render" in Google Search Console? I would do that on any of your blog posts and see if the render shows the images.
My guess is it's not an issue for you, but maybe something wp.com is blocking access to, or not allowing indexation on.

Thanks. The strange thing is that it appears that only my post images aren't being indexed. My Facebook and Twitter images are, but the images that appear in the actual post are not, making it seem like this is purely a technical issue.

Hi Edward,
No, it is recommended not to list your attachment pages as the quality of these pages are very low so that's why you don't want them to be included in the SERPs.
Usually image indexation can be a problem for bigger sites. Our indexation rate is a little bit bigger then yours but for now we also have less then 50% of our images indexed and that's tens of thousands of images at the moment. Somehow Google doesn't find most of the images relevant to its users. What you could do to improve this is make sure there is always some relevant information around the image available.Hope this helps!?

No Longer Indexed in Google (Says Redirected)
Just recently my page, http:/www./waikoloavacationrentals.com/mauna-lani-terrace, was no longer indexed by google. The sub pages from it still are. I have not done anything sketchy with the page. When I went into the google fetch it says that it is redirected. Any ideas what is this all about? Here is what it says for the fetch: Http/1.1 301 moved permanently

Home Page .index.htm and .com Duplicate Page Content/Title
I have been whittling away at the duplicate content on my clients' sites, thanks to SEOmoz's pro report, and have been getting push back from the account manager at register.com (the site was built here and the owner doesn't want to move it). He says these are the exact same page and he can't access one to redirect to the other. Any suggestions? The SEOmoz report says there is duplicate content on both these urls: Durango Mountain Biking | Durango Mountain Resort - Cascade Village http://www.cascadevillagehotel.com/index.htm Durango Mountain Biking | Durango Mountain Resort - Cascade Village http://www.cascadevillagehotel.com/ Your help is greatly appreciated! Sheryl

Want to Target Mobile site for Google Mobile Version and Desktop Site for Google Desktop Version
I have ecommerce site with both mobile version and desktop version. Mobile version starts with m.example.com and full version starts with www.example.com I am using same content through out both site and using 301 redirection by detecting user agent vice-versa. My both sites are accessible to crawl by any google spider. I have submitted both sites's sitemap to GWT and mobile site having mobile sitemap xml, so google can easily recognize my mobile site. Is it going to help to rank my both sites as per my expectation? I need to rank for mobile site in Google mobile and ranking for desktop site in Google desktop version. Some of pages of my mobile site are started to appearing in Google desktop version. So how I can stop them to appear in Google desktop? Your comments are highly welcome.

Duplicate index.php/webpage pages on website. Help needed!
Hi Guys, Having a really frustrating problem with our website. It is a Joomla 1.7 site and we have some duplicate page issues. What is happening is that we have a webpage, lets say domain.com/webpage1 and then we also have domain.com/index.php/webpage1. Google is seeing these as duplicate pages and is causing me some real SEO problems. I have tried setting up a 301 redirect but it wn't let me redirect /index.php/webpage1 to /webpage1. Anyone have any ideas or plugins that can be used to sort this out? Any help will be really appreciated! Matt.

Google Off/On Tags
I came across this article about telling google not to crawl a portion of a webpage, but I never hear anyone in the SEO community talk about them. http://perishablepress.com/press/2009/08/23/tell-google-to-not-index-certain-parts-of-your-page/ Does anyone use these and find them to be effective? If not, how do you suggest noindexing/canonicalizing a portion of a page to avoid duplicate content that shows up on multiple pages?
