Will my site get devalued if I add the same company schema to all the pages of my website?
-
If I add the exact same schema markup to every page on my website - is it considered duplicate content?
Our CMS is telling me that if I want schema mark-up on our site that it has to be the same on every page on the website. This limitation is frustrating but I am trying to figure out the best way to work within their boundaries.
Your help is appreciated.

Thank you so much for responding. The CMS is a proprietary version from Cox Automotive. I have to choose between no schema and the same schema on every page. Not really what I wanted but I really appreciate your input, it's very helpful.

Hi Annette,
Huf is right, it's been asked before in the Moz Q&A but Schema.org or even duplicate content in general on your own domain isn't consider to become a penalty. It just hurts the crawl budget and the quality of your pages. In the case of Schema.org you're completely fine.
Martijn.

Hi Annette,
No. "Duplicate content is content that appears on the Internet in more than one place" (See: https://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content.
It is quite common to add the company address to a footer file, which is visible below every page. This is not considered duplicate content and will not result in any penalties.
This may be relevant to you: https://moz.com/community/q/local-business-schema-markup-on-every-page
What CMS are you using? If Wordpress, there's a few good Schema plugins that may help you with this: All In One Schema is very popular and works well. I believe this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-seo-structured-data-schema/ allows you to add company Schema details in one place.
I hope that helps.

Local SEO: Spain - having trouble getting to first page
Dear, Moz community We are an online advertising website / direcotry. Lately we discovered that our website due to technical error was in English rather than Spanish and was not ranking in the local Spanish google.es at all. After changing the main language we quickly climbed to 2nd page with rankings in google.es . **My question is on top of regular SEO (Link building, content, blog) what could we do to help us rank quicker in local google.es. ** The same keyword ranks in google.com as #3 but not in Spain. Should we put in the effort to work with local directories? Google MyBusiness is not an option as we are not a bricks and mortar business.

Blog Page Titles - Page 1, Page 2 etc.
Hi All, I have a couple of crawl errors coming up in MOZ that I am trying to fix. They are duplicate page title issues with my blog area. For example we have a URL of www.ourwebsite.com/blog/page/1 and as we have quite a few blog posts they get put onto another page, example www.ourwebsite.com/blog/page/2 both of these urls have the same heading, title, meta description etc. I was just wondering if this was an actual SEO problem or not and if there is a way to fix it. I am using Wordpress for reference but I can't see anywhere to access the settings of these pages. Thanks

Micro-sites for Landing Pages?
We are working with a site that is difficult at best to update. The client intends to re-do the site in 18 months or so but needs to start generating more traffic (and sales) now. What are thoughts on creating landing pages as micro-sites that point to the current site conversion page as a stop gap? Beyond not sharing authority is there any known penalty? By the way they don't have tremendous ranking right now - often bottom of page two - and the micro-site won't duplicate any content.

My site is http://www.medic8.com and http://www.mealldubh.org has cloned my site and is now outranking my site. I have submitted DMCA requests to Google with no response. I do not know what to do now but surely it should be obvoius that this site has cloned me and there must be a way to have this scraper removed from the index? Im lost in terms of what I can do next so any help would be greatly appreacited.

How to add a disclaimer to a site but keep the content accessible to search robots?
Hi, I have a client with a site regulated by the UK FSA (Financial Services Authority). They have to display a disclaimer which visitor must accept before browsing. This is for real, not like the EU cookie compliance debacle 🙂 Currently the site 302 redirects anyone not already cookied (as having accepted) to a disclaimer page/form. Do you have any suggestions or examples of how to require acceptance while maintaining accessibility? I'm not sure just using a jquery lightbox would meet the FSA's requirements, as it wouldn't be shown if JS was not enabled. Thanks, -Jason

Redirecting Entire Microsite Content to Main Site Internal Pages?
I am currently working on improving site authority for a client site. The main site has significant authority, but I have learned that the company owns several other resource-focused microsites which are stagnant, but which have accrued significant page authority of their own (thought still less than the main site). Realizing the fault in housing good content on a microsite rather than the main site, my thought is that I can redirect the content of the microsites to internal pages on the main site as a "Resources" section. I am wondering a: if this is a good idea and b: the best way to transfer site authority from these microsites. I am also wondering how to organize the content and if, for example, an entire microsite domain (e.g. microsite.com) should in fact be redirected to internal resource pages (e.g. mainsite.com/resources). Any input would be greatly appreciated!
