Don't forget about other crawlers that might have already crawled the links. You could for example check if Majestic or Ahrefs have already picked up on the link. Usually looking at a metric of Domain Authority to hope for an effect in your visits is not the best way to go about your SEO.

Thank you David.
I understand you point of view, ill check that also i wanted to to if these links were crawled first in order to understand that the hustle of getting the links were worth it and if they had real impact on the visits.
That's why I was trying to see if moz domain rank changed and how much my visits changed with that.
Thanks.

Thanks Martijn,
Exactly what I was looking for.

Hi Francisco,
I think you're focus is a little bit misdirected here.
To see the real impact of your backlinks, I would be checking Google Analytics for increases in organic traffic or Search Analytics data in Google Search Console.
Don't put too much focus on DA and don't be surprised to see it go up and down with different indexes (and don't freak out when it goes down).
Overall, my advice would be to focus on real metrics rather than third party metrics.
Cheers,
David

404 : Errors in crawl report - all pages are listed with index.html on a WordPress site
Hi Mozers, I have recently submitted a website using moz, which has pulled up a second version of every page on the WordPress site as a 404 error with index.html at the end of the URL. e.g Live page URL - http://www.autostemtechnology.com/applications/civil-blasting/ Report page URL - http://www.autostemtechnology.com/applications/civil-blasting/index.html The permalink structure is set as /%postname%/ For some reason the report has listed every page with index.html at the end of the page URL. I have tried a number of redirects in the .htaccess file but doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions will be strongly appreciated. Thanks

Why is my domain authority lower than my competitors ?
I am totally confused with the information that I am getting from the Site explorer. My domain authority is 26, while my competitor's is 29. I am confused because every one of the factors that SEOmoz uses to determine our domain authority has higher rankings for my website. My SEOmoz rank is higher, my external followed links is higher, and so forth. The only factor that my competitor has with a greater ranking or number is that they have more internal links. I used the link metrics portion and added their URL to see all of this information. Can anyone tell me how this is possible ? My domain is www.Prickettproperties.com and one of the ones that I am looking at comparing is www.liquidlifevacationrentals.com

One Follow Link from each subdomain/domain best for SEO?
Hi there, we have a lot of customers linking to our homepage from a subdomain of our domain or from an external domain. From SEO point of view is it best that they all only have one DoFollow Link and the rest of the links are NoFollow? Or does this have no matter at all? The problem is that we have like 900.000 links but only from round about 1000 different root domains. If we put like half of the links on NoFollow our ratio of links/ different root domains gets better. Thanks for answering! Sebastian

How fast can Domain Authority be established?
I am wondering how much time it takes to grow a new site's domain authority. More so, based on a consistent stream of links, syndication, and content, how fast can a website grow from 0-20, 21-40, 41-60, etc. in terms of domain authority?

Incorrect domain authority result on SEO tool bar and OSE
The SEO tool bar is returning what I believe to be an incorrect domain authority of 71 and showing 24,356,141 lins from 153,051 domains. The OSE is also returning 71 as domain authority. Anyone know what could be doing this? Thanks. Jason
